Can we see some up close shots of the track and how it's attached in the front?

Are these custom tracks or from front runner?

Also I've never heard a bad thing about either rack and don't think that the k9 is inferior. I think it just comes down to personal preference and how the will be used.

I'm in the same boat as you and have posted in another thread. I've been looking at both the K9 and front runner for my 5th gen. I like that the K9 can be had in a full length rack but the front to back slats won't work for all my needs. Front runner has a rack available on their site but...

Thanks for the heads up. Ideally I would have liked to have the brackets prior to ordering the rack but maybe I'll end up just trying to find someone local to do it.

I called American Overland today and they are going to see if they can find the template for the front mounts. I'm on the other side of the country so there's no chance of me dropping the truck off for them to use. I'll post either way when I hear back.
