    Expedition-ifying a 2000 Tundra

Underbody skid? Also... What happened to the whole underbody skid plate?

    Expedition-ifying a 2000 Tundra

Some sort of mud flaps for rear? What about some sort of cover for the rear tires, to prevent mud slinging all over the vehicle and attached cargo? Looks like it could really help, except for the weight.

    The evolution of "Alpine" Tundra

+/- 220,000 miles Alpine Tundra rocks! She's got about 220K on the ODO and has some new lights on the front end. I picked up some cheap LEDs on sale, and WOW ARE THEY BRIGHT!!! <RANT ON>Oh, how I hate KC Slimlights! They burn out whenever I think about turning them on, it seems. The new...

    The evolution of "Alpine" Tundra

I have not. Almost did it a few months ago. I figure if the lower part of the fender gets bumped, who cares? LOL

I'd love to see how you adapted a LandCruiser Snorkel to the Tundra. I've always wanted one!

nice looking fifth gen. I picked one of those up a few months back and it's still stock. Trying to decide if I want to modify it or leave it as is.

    100,000 miles

A co-worker of mine rented one of these when he came to Texas (yeah, right... a Mid Size -- you gotta be kidding me). Anyhow, he literally could not do 65 mph on the highway with it floored into a stiff 20-30 mph headwind. He could BARELY do it with a crosswind. Ignoring safety (which may be...

    100,000 miles

Frame rust recall I got that recall notice too, Jim. I am afraid with no rear cross member and holes up and down my frame for the rock sliders, they would laugh me outta there. I'm not too worried about it because I hardly ever see salt in Texas (only on trips to CO & NM). I'll drop by for...

    !!!! Attention tundra owners!!! Rocksliders

Looking good! Those look really nice. I like the idea of gussets for added support off the mounting plates. You do good work. If I needed a set, I'd sure look hard at these. .

    !!!! Attention tundra owners!!! Rocksliders

I own a high lift adapter for round tubing that is much more stable than using the high lift stock with square tubing. I'll try to find a link.

    Haggis' Multi-Use Tundra Build

That sucks. I have a few of those from trees and rocks, but fortunately, all of the other ones got fixed. :-) The tree and rock damage give the Alpine Tundra its personality.

Any reason there are not a lot of Sequoia builds?

We have an 03 Tundra and Sequoia (both 1st Gen). I don't believe the center grille is interchangeable on them. There is a slightly different shape. I discovered this when mounting our bug deflectors on both vehicles. It may be different in the 2nd Gen Tundras and Sequoias, though. .

    Haggis' Multi-Use Tundra Build

That is a SWEET setup. It makes me regret having a tool box that goes over the sides, LOL. I could really picture myself enjoying a good nights sleep in the back end on top of a setup like that. Very good job! :wings: .

Wow, I can't believe it has been 6 months since I've looked at my own build thread. Sorry for the delayed response, which will be photo-less for now, but I will try to add some later. I can't believe how many photos are missing from the thread. That sucks. OK, here's what's new... Fire...
