Independent rear suspension. Xterra and frontier are easier to lift and have more suspension flex with the solid rear axle. Pathfinder is a great platform nothing wrong with it for mild expo terrain.

Finally upgraded my bike rack. Took a little custom fabrication but I could not possibly be happier with the end result. Lots of departure angle, zero bike movement. Doesn't block the license plate or tail lights. Going to be awesome on the trails this year.

Yeah it's a shame the bolts are so hard to find. Heil coiling the threads to a different pitch or retapping to the next larger size is seeming like the best option.
