    Questions About Shocks/Springs Ram 2500

I actually run carli 2.5 kings in the rear - but a little birdy has told me the shock dimensions (collapsed/extended) are basically the same. Thuren valving should work fine in my opinion (I would go stage 3-4 if it were me)

    Questions About Shocks/Springs Ram 2500

I used the black (the softest they offer for the 2500s) - So far, I love them... 4 bolts, and they come off if I want to run normal bump stops. They dont seem to impact daily ride quality, and when I do hit them on the street, I cant tell (I can only tell based on witness marks on the axle).

    Questions About Shocks/Springs Ram 2500

They recommend 1" bump stop drops in the rear (although a PW already has them) - I run those, and no other modifications. It was ok with my 1200lb tongue weight trailer (a little squat) but the sumo springs keep me dead level...

    Questions About Shocks/Springs Ram 2500

There is a new contender - carbon shocks - thuren seems to be developing them with a piston of his own design. I do run his kings with carli +2 springs in the rear. I love the ride, but ended up with sumo springs to control the squat with my travel trailer hooked up.

Rear Bumper w/ Swingout Tire Carrier for F150... Why doesn't this exist!?!?

And they are a company that will sell you a half baked bumper with quality and design issues... and crap customer service. There is a reason their biggest market is insta fanbois who are sponsored by them and never say anything bad about anything they own.

    RSI SmartCap order status

Have you spoken to nuthouse? The are a dealer... that being said, mine is just OK, and I would not buy a second if needed for some reason

    RSI SmartCap order status

I know they are cool looking, but the paint on mine is super poor. They gave me the run around on exchanging it, so I gave up.

How good can a full-size solid axle suspension be?

Sumo should make some soft bump stops for a wide variety of trucks. I use them on my diesel ram, and they feel great.

    Power Wagon vs F250 Tremor

As of 2 weeks ago, I do not. I needed more weight capacity to tow my airstream, and so had to move to a regular 2500. Ended up with a brand new loaded cummins truck for almost nothing out of pocket (amazing trade in value on the old truck, and below invoice on the new truck if I was willing to...

    Power Wagon vs F250 Tremor

My power wagon with the 8speed on 37s averaged 9mpg in the city... On the highway, maybe 14. Hook a trailer up, and it was not pretty...

    hobbyhorsing issue in power wagon

Need more shocks... Common problem with the coil sprung 2500's with weight high up (ie, camper, etc). The airbags should help compensate for the spring rate, but you can also go to Carli's +2 rear spings (not on their website) - they are a higher spring rate than the standard carli +1 springs...

    2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (Gigantor 2.0)

Call AEV - ask them "I have a 20XX power wagon and want to run your lift - can I run it with my factory springs, or do I need standard 2500 hemi springs" - let us know what they say... Because I have made that call, and they told me (and others) "You need springs from a standard 2500".

    Let’s see some POWER WAGONS!

An interesting entry into the radius arm options - similar to the Lewis built, but actually avalible it seems. https://www.signaturemetalfab.com/product-page/ram-hd-adjustable-radius-arms

    2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (Gigantor 2.0)

Aev - a solution that yields 3" of lift on a non-power wagon. On a power wagon (where you will loose much of your flex vs a normal truck) it yields 1.5" of front lift and no rear. You can't ever remove it without replacing knuckles ($), and it only moves the axle forward if you buy the 40"...

    2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon (Gigantor 2.0)

Agreed with the above - aev lift is not the right choice. You don't need any lift to fit 37s, and you will have to ditch your springs for normal 2500 springs (loosing all that sweet flex). Thuren front springs are the way to go
