Any tricks for keep the dust of the canopy?

Here is a cheap but very effective solution. Assuming the foam seal to the truck box is good. Go to the hardware store and purchase 2" painters tape. I tape the inside of the tailgate and then close the canopy door and tape the gap on the outside. Guaranteed to keep all dust out from gravel...

    michelin xda 295/60r22.5

Thanks for the input. I already have the 22.5 rims and adapters so I am stuck with that size. Our camper only weighs about 1300 lbs so weight is not an issue. The truck rides like a tank already, not looking forward to the harder ride. We will be in the Alaska-Yukon area panning for gold.

    michelin xda 295/60r22.5

Would appreciate any feedback on the tires. Intended use is some highway, and FS roads with lots of gravel. They will be mounted on accuride wheels and are going on a dodge 2500 SRW cummins. Thank you.

I have the accurides for single rear wheel with adapters from Frank at diesel wheels. I plan on doing a lot of gravel road driving and hope I have not made a mistake going the 22.5...

    A Hawk in the Arctic

You can fit a woodstove in your hawk. You would disconnect the stove pipe and off you go. The dry heat is why I bought our little sardine stove. Might have jumped the gun since we dont have a camper yet.

Seeking information on import-sized Bigfoot and Northern Lite campers

Good thinking on the attachment points. I did not know about those and used torklift tie downs. Rigged properly but still not able to hold from shifting sideways. It was a nice little camper, the couch seating was a little narrow. Cold weather camping near Teslin lake we would get too much...

Seeking information on import-sized Bigfoot and Northern Lite campers

Yes it is a great little camper. We had one on our dodge 2500 cummins. We built a platform that was 5" to clear the cab. All went well until we had to stop a little faster and the camper shifted almost denting the side cab. There is nothing to stop the sideway motion of the camper. If I had to...
