    2019 Ford Ranger Taking Orders

Bummer about the milage, was hoping for at least mid 20's or a little more. Even with all the engineering wizardry, gassers are about at their limits for fuel efficiency. Maybe if Ford drops a diesel in, it will break 30. Have you towed anything with it yet, and does the milage take a nose dive...

Sure it is...it is all relative was my point. Full-size truck might feel massive to some but small to others. Size difference between the two isn't night and day, splitting hairs really. If a person has trouble putting a 1/2 ton 99% of the places a midsize can go, they have bigger problems than...

    2019 Ford Ranger Taking Orders

Pretty much my thinking. As I said in another thread...this past Monday ran into a Rancher in a stock Ram 3500 CCLB out riding dirt bikes. I says to him. "That thing is a little big for out here, ain't it!?" He spouts back "Only if you're a wimp!" It was all dented to Hell... ha ha!

It is all relative. Go run a SXS down the same trails...can almost guarantee you'll have more fun and it will be faster. You can pound on those things like a dirt bike, where you would destroy the Ranger trying to do the same thing. If you are running a lot tight gnarly trails, probably better...

Shoot, it annoys me to no end! Would be so nice to be able to lay down $50K on that Ranger, but my guilt for spending that much on a little truck would drive me nuts. Just not wired that way. As you said $50K isn't that much money in big the scheme of things, but don't think the Ranger is worth...

Of course it is. Me having my own business...I look at the best value for me, yours might be different. Wife's father did very well for himself over the years, retired now...but still always wheeling and dealing. If it is your blood it never leaves. Sorry that my constant looking for the best...

$50K isn't a lot to me. Our earth moving machines weren't what I would call exactly cheap. And we paid cash for them. Some guys like to brag how much the spend others how little. This whole forum seems like a pissing contest of who can spend the most to live like a homeless person. One of...

I had a dolphin skull that I found on the beach in Baja...not sure whatever happened to it. Those out of the way Mexico beaches that never get groomed like our US ones, find all kinds of stuff on them.

Vehicle only camper is great for short 2-3 day trips. I get annoyed with it anything over week, especially if I am setting up and breaking camp. Feels like I am constantly shuffling things around...have it down to a science now, but still! Having a trailer in addition would be great, something...

Aren't we all!? ;) I always have a trailer with me 99% of the time, so I don't mind towing. What I go back forth on is whether or not I want all the camping stuff attached to the vehicle or all on a trailer. Seems like it never fails, get the truck all setup and I need to go run somewhere...

Here I was thinking it was your better half, saying you reached your vehicle buying quota. ;) :) Yeah if the doors are removed, you're not going to use the switches anyways... lol Any vehicle not a Toyota, I feel lost with the switches at first. Have been driving them for so long, doesn't...

Is a small tear drop or enclosed trailer out of the question? You can pick up a 5X8 enclosed for cheap, and doesn't have to be attached to the vehicle all the time either.

    2019 Ford Ranger Taking Orders

I prefer my 8' long trailer for hauling stuff than a pickup bed. So much easier to load/unload. Couple years ago we bought a new washer from Lowes, just happened to be on Black Friday of all days, the guy loading things was relieved when I pulled up front with my trailer, he was like, man...I...

My bad, I thought, that you thought, that I thought... ha ha! Yeah, mid sizes don't make financial sense. Buy a half ton the same or cheaper. At $35K and under, a lot choices too, RC, SC, CC...4 different engine options...
