    It has been a while..

The 1997 TJ is still in the fleet, but now it just gets to do mostly wheeling duty. The 725 is off play shop truck at Jeep Recyclers in Pittsburg (if you need FSJ bits look Adam over there up). So we've added a JT diesel to the mix in the hopes of getting back to some middle of nowhere camping...

Fuso 4x4 Expedition Camper for SALE - $75,000

Do you have any idea what it would be able to sanely tow? I accidentally showed this post to my wife and she loved it. Downside it I can't really justify it if it can't tow the racecar (7000lb trailer).. I know.. first world problems... I guess the easier question is .. what does it weigh all...

Turning radius on a JKUR, can it be made tighter?

If you're hunting for more steering angle and are limited by the u-joints these might help: http://www.rcvperformance.com/index.aspx On my TJ the limiting factor tends to be the offset of the wheels on the front. The current 35s on a somewhat tighter wheel than the 33s have reduced a lot of...

    CO: Canadian M101 trailer.

Also.. for those not familiar with the M101 They were batch of M416 'clones' that are a bit more unibody than the body on frame of the M416. Most were built in 1992 and were intended to be towed behind a volkswagen Iltis. I'm actually the 'first' owner of this trailer after picking it up from...

    CO: Canadian M101 trailer.

Bump, Sorry I've been a bit AWOL. Ton of code @ work and trying to get my WRX cage done. I've contacted the 1st person that messaged me to see if they're still interested and will start working my way back up the list. Thanks Jason

    CO: Canadian M101 trailer.

Amusing.. Its been through VA a good number of times (normally hauling camping gear for big dogs events @ gore) and just left CA.. It has traveled a bit and has suited me quite well.

    CO: Canadian M101 trailer.

not a whole lot done recently. Before the move there was a 2-3 week thrash to get it ready to drive (trip was 1300 miles, it only has `1200 miles on it from 1967) 1.) wipers 2.) New rear axle from a 2005 3/4 ton chevy (easier to service disk brakes, wheel studs available) 3.) New transfercase...

    CO: Canadian M101 trailer.

Will do. I'm going to wander by on the way into the office (I've been slacking this weekend). Today I'm making some progress on the WRX roll cage and don't want to loose the groove :)

Anyone running a Donaldson Filter assembly on a TJ?

Na, work down in boulder slinging code for an ad firm, but I do drive by that intersection pretty regularly. Still fairly new in town, escaped CA in april. I contacted Donaldson and they were nice enough to recommend a filter, part no G120415. Also recommended a TopSpin to put on top the...

Anyone running a Donaldson Filter assembly on a TJ?

Yeah.. I stumbled across that one. Just not sure its going to fit with the York compressor in the way (otherwise I'd likely just use the stock airbox with the arb)

CA Heades up, several changes waiting and sitting on Browns desk.

Searched back a few pages and didn't see anything. There's a few bills on Browns desk currently waiting to be signed that might give some here some grief. One of those being SB-374. While many might not care that this is mostly directed @ the AKs and ARs of the world it also snags a good number...

Anyone running a Donaldson Filter assembly on a TJ?

All of this fun water in CO got me thinking maybe.. maybe I should actually finish the snorkel plumbing. I'm no longer subject to CARB (happydance). The Jeep has had a turbo-city tube on it for ages, with a spun aluminum thing over the filter that I was planning on plumbing to the snorkel...

Change of address + new callsign?

That just hurts my brain to see 2 vehicles with the same tag on them :). I don't have anything else I can really do a 2nd one on another.. the 1967 M725 gets a collectors tag here, the BMW has no radio, and the rally car may get 'nachos' if its available.. Thanks, Jason to now be known as KD0VSR

Change of address + new callsign?

Well, it does come down to vanity.. Looking to get the callsign tags for the TJ here. Would rather people around here not think I'm from CA, but I did get my ticket while I was there :).. Now to refresh the Jeep and get some wheeling/camping in this summer. its been too long.

Change of address + new callsign?

Ah.. found my answers with a bit more googling. 1.) It seems its not required to change it anymore 2.) I want to change it anyway as to hide my 5 years of residence in CA :)... Its in there under the license manager, on the right side of the screen away from everything else. Looking for 'New...

Change of address + new callsign?

I've been hunting around the FCC site to try and figure this out. I appear to have successfully changed my address, but I've moved far enough that I should have a new region digit (have a 6, need a 0). Anyone know what that takes, or if it will be done from the address change? Thanks Jason...
