    Surfboards on truck camper??

I would think 96" width + surfboards on the sides would =too wide for Baja.

    C4500 Ambulance Camper

The total weight on the front and rear axle should dictate the PSI for the tires. I believe Continental has some of this information on their website.

Thoughts on the Truckhouse Tacoma expedition camper...

IF they can get below max gvwr, staying with a 3500 makes a lot of sense. Especially considering how horrible the selection of 40" military MPT tires is. The Goodyears are $2000 a tire and huge pain in the ass compared to standard LT tires.

2020 Ram 5500 DIY Composite Panel Camper Build Thread

HAHAH perfect. Online and on social media they all love those MPT tires, in private they all hate them. It keeps Continental busy churning them out I guess.

Turns out I need a real truck. Kindly help me choose one!

The OP wants us to help him decide if he should get the red one, the blue one, or the yellow one, when in the end he is going to get the white one.

The outfitter is correct. You do not have to do anything to the suspension or the tires and wheels on the Ram 3500. That should save a significant amount of money.

Turns out I need a real truck. Kindly help me choose one!

100k for a new truck and now all of a sudden the load just got heavier. Just spend your money on whatever one you want. It's not a daily driver, and will be used a few times a month, maybe. It's pointless to talk $$$ numbers because besides keeping or upgrading your Tundra, all of the other...

Easiest solution might be to just buy a new one, and dedicate it only to the habitat. It's not the cheapest though.

Weight estimation - DIY Ram 3500 with Total Composites or Box Manufaktur

To address the no ac cooled seat problem, you can add aftermarket covers or do a full seat conversion. I have no personal experience with these cooled seats unfortunately so I can't say how well they perform.

Weight estimation - DIY Ram 3500 with Total Composites or Box Manufaktur

It's going to be overweight, or if not, suffer from poor handling. This is purely speculation, so I am open to being wrong. The TC campers that are now 50mm all around will be lighter than the the ones built with the 83 mm roof and floor, so that could work in your favor going with 50 mm all...

    2017 F-550 Camper Build - Ground Up

Going with some cut out fender flares would negate the need for the front lift. Also, I drive around without any sway bar and it makes a huge difference.

Buiding a passthrough from truck to camper?

Sure it's been done. I would personally find it hard to rationalize cutting up a new truck just so I can go from the back of the camper to the driver's seat, but people do it. If you search around you are likely to find many example. If you end up doing it though, post some pictures.

Smallest Mini Split (exterior unit) recommendations

Post Pics of Your Hard Side Camper!

Do you happen to know how much weight is on the rear axle fully loaded? It seems like you could be over the weight rating of the tires? I also did the sway bar delete, makes a huge difference. (y)
