Help: Carli/Deaver Rear Springs 06 Ram

Bummer on Carli's lack of communication. I ditched the air bags as well after a failure in the back country. Thats when I decided to just have a pack made locally. That way its done right the first time. The shop that did mine did semi's and other large truck suspension work, so may be worth...

Help: Carli/Deaver Rear Springs 06 Ram

If you are looking to remove the airbags, I would find a local heavy duty spring shop, and have them either add to the pack, or make one. I had a similar situation in my super duty. I have a flatbed and a FWC Hawk UTE, and ran air bags for a bit, until I had a failure. I went to a local spring...

    Tundra vs F150

I'm gonna go against the grain here, and this is just my opinion. I would chose the Ford over my tundra anyday. Ford has really stepped it up where as Toyota has lagged. I own a 2012 Tundra Rock Warrior supercharged. It's been good so far. But it leaves a lot to be desired. I have been a Toyota...

    2017 F150 SCREW 4x4 build Thread

If you still were considering air bags and worried about suspension travel, you can use Daystar cradles so the bag can separate without an issue. I use them with a set of Deaver springs in my Tundra with a FWC. Plenty of hard offroad with no issues.

For Sale: 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser

Up for sale is my 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Im only selling because a great deal on a truck in the family came up. I purchased the FJ from Empire Toyota in Oneonta NY while on vacation and drove it home Long Island. It has been a great truck and served me well. I performed all maintenance and...

Is maintaining height as I add weight (armor) proper use of adjustable coilovers?

I did a similar thing with my fj, getting adjustable coilivers so I could adjust as I added weight. However, they currently do not have a heavy enough spring in them. It was great with no armour, but now I get serious brake dive and such with the arb and winch and stuff on the front. So if you...

FJ Cruiser Good Option for Long-term Overlanding?

I own an fj, and I would absolutely agree with it being WAY too small for 4 people. Two people is kind of the maximum. I have a trailer with a RTT mounted on it, and even then it still feels like I need more room. And like others said, the view from the back seat is non existing. Everyone that's...

Eeziawn or Howling Moon, Tepui or CVT

Once I drill the rivets how should I replace them? Use sheet metal screws? Small machine bolts? Shame I have to take a drill to a brand new tent

Eeziawn or Howling Moon, Tepui or CVT

I have and their solution was to mail me a new plastic corner piece and drill the rivets out and replace them. Not really something I feel like I should do on a brand new tent that wasn't exactly cheap. And as to the bar you have to wrestle it into place and to slide it in and of the tent every...

Eeziawn or Howling Moon, Tepui or CVT

I have a tepui autana ruggedized and I am less than thrilled with it. I have an issue with the tent separating from the channel in the base. The set up is clunky with the bar that supports the fabric over the ladder. And take down is a pain to try and get the fabric of the tent to pack neatly...
