RTT on an M101a2 without welding?

You can find “cheap” bolt on racks on Amazon. You could use the oem rack clamps or reinforce it somehow with bar stock and bolt it to the top rail on the 101. If you were closer I have a 2nd set of side rails and bows and it just getting dusty. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Mongoose Mountain bike

The Dolomite was a early "big box' fat bike, its a 50 pound bike. For simply riding around the campground it would work OK. I played with one for about a year, you can spruce it up of you want to but its not cost effective. You can drop close to 10 pounds just by drilling the out the rims...

    Which 3500lb axle for a M101A1

iirc the budd wheels and NDS tires are 110 lbs each and the complete axle is probably 150 lbs. With the new axle and aluminum wheels and decent tires30-50 pounds per wheel and maybe 100 on the axle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fat bike purchase

Thoughts....based on what you say you will be doing "some overnights, but mostly mountain trails"....I say Muk. Your right in the Pug being more tour oriented, the Pug is now kinda old school with it's offset and 135mm hubs but easy to replace if needed or swap ft/rr. The Muk will be 135/170...
