    Parasitic Battery Drain...

Had a similar experience with my jeep. The open door/key in ignition buzzer would go off all by itself with no keys in it. Sometimes the head lights would come on all by itself with no keys in it. I had dealer look at it several times, they never sorted it out. Got to where I would disco the...

    Salt in the ice?

We gave a Walmart Ozark 50 (ish) quart cooler a test run in the Blackrock desert last weekend 4 days. Pre-cooled it with frozen milk jugs for 24 hour prior to packing. Then packed 2- 1 gallon frozen gatorade bottles (they have flat sides, so they pack nice) and a 10lb block of ice from Safeway...

I saw one of your rigs out on the Blackrock Desert last weekend. Dude from Reno was up with his family, dirt bikes & camping. Silver with I think CCV Pop top. Good stuff.

Alignment set for crown of the road...

Centering your wheel in the wheel well shouldn't be that big of a deal. I have a similar set up (4Runner/285/70/17 with SCP UCA & Front mud flaps removed & body mount chop) had similar problem with a Toyota dealer- was real clear before booking appt they could handle aftermarket UCA. They are...

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

I miss my jeep but glad we went with the 4Runner last time around. Another option to consider is the K9 rack, various lengths, all aluminum, T-slots so can bolt anything to it, plus lot accessories. The rack is one piece minus the feet and rail, which is a bonus as it doesn't allow it to shift...

    CVT Summit Series discussion

I've got about 130+ nights in my Mt.Rainer Summit, love it. I have been eyeballing the cold weather cover as well to extend our camp season, as well as provide additional rain coverage. Putting away any tent wet is a no no. And as you know we get our share of rain up here in the PacNW, so...

Can anyone recommend a sub $200 Tablet for Navigation

Prob with one of the many blue tooth GPS transponders available. I am pondering the same question, to purchase tablet with GPS built in or buy a GPS transponder and non GPS tablet. Kinda leaning towards Samsung because of the expandable memory and cheaper then IOS products.

    Hodakaguy's 4x4 Sprinter Build

Looks like a great rig for the whole family. You gonna run that thru High Rock Canyon? Kidding of course, you need a hitch rack for the KTM/bike on the back.

    Custom 4x4 Toyota Sunrader Build

Interesting build- I like it. Was just down in Bend Oregon and saw a very similar rig at a house with what looked like maybe 2 right hand drive LandCruisers next to it in the driveway.

    Shops in Pacific Northwest

Superior Off Road- Gresham, OR _ (basically east Portland). I purchased a Toytec lift and install from them for my 16 4Runner and later my buddy had his 19 Tundra lifted by them. Install was only $500 and included the alignment. Ask for Houston 503-674-9515( he has a lifted 4Runner himself).
