    grinding noise when turning right

Turn off DSC when you're doing this maneuver. Its the button above your radio. If you're doing the maneuver fast as in turning a corner most likely its ABS being applied to equalize wheel speed. If it doesn't occur when you have DSC off then you have your answer. Do you have larger tires as...

    Save your compressor!!!

100%. I think thats one of the reasons for sure. Ours was just old and the piston ring had worn down. Leading up to that failure it would be nice to know when your compressor had started overworking and at least prepare for it or address it.

    LR3 Wheels & Tires 17 vs 18 vs 19

This would mostly depend on the offset of the wheels but if you're running factory 5x120 you will always be limited to the available rims made to that spec. I haven't seen many of the big wheel manufacturers like KMC, Method, Fuel etc making a 5x120. A BMW or Honda would fit no problem since a...

Using your own factory rods to lift your LR3/4 etc.

agree but we only use the Johnson Rods as a temporary lift. This was done on mine to see approximately what was required to fit on 34" tires. My GF is running 33's on hers but we have SYA spacers on top of her Arnotts so they dont stress the bags too much on extended height. This is the more...

Using your own factory rods to lift your LR3/4 etc.

Hey folks. I did a video that explains exactly what I did to achieve a lift using the above method and no it doesn't mean just adjusting calibrations with a GAP tool. I would not suggest this method unless you completely understand the EAS AND have a GAP tool or similar that can adjust EAS...

Mounting bumpers other than what is commercially available for LR3/4

I know this will probably rub a few the wrong way but we have mounted Jeep Bumpers on both my girlfriends LR as well as mine. Why would anyone do this? Let me lay out our reasons. 1. trying to save all the money we can for mechanical issues that are guaranteed to come up. 2. dont want to look...

LR3 max tire size, if EAS fails

we have built bypass valves to fill shocks manually in case any part of the system fails. We also run Arnotts that have a check valve that will hold up to 75 psi of air so in theory you should never be on bumpstops unless a severe compression blows out what air is in the shock. Of course if...
