yes. I cut the boards to a 1.5" x 2" to match the metal pieces and the welder is working on that now. then the actuator will be bolted to a cross piece and to the last upper arm. its a 400lb actuator. the four legs will be pined in place to keep the tent at the hight for the annex if needed...

I did not see it mentioned, but something you want to do is put a good exterior water sealant on the plywood, I like a penetrating sealant on all my wood. This will help to keep the plywood from warping and edges from cracking if it gets wet.
