If there isn't a code, you can register a vehicle even if the emissions has been turned off regardless of the state. Some states do visual inspections and most don't. Since this is still intact, it is the best of both worlds.

You can tilt it down, but I wanted more room. I got an 18" extension, as well as a 8" drop bracket. This enables me to open the rear tire swing out, gas can carrier, and open the rear hatch with the bikes in the upward position. That being said, our bikes are light so we never exceed 300lbs...

I have had all sizes mentioned. 35's if you want more clearance when aired down, but i wouldnt do it with without regearing to 4.45's towing or not.

It will be the smartest decision you ever made. Maintenance will be like replacing a battery, even when it is high mileage.
