Not sure if you're still on expo but I had some questions about your NWTI bumper. Did you ever get that built? How was it for the fab shop to work with? How much did they charge you? Any pictures? I have a 98 T and am considering going with that setup. Hope your new build is going well!
I’ve currently got Downey t bars on my 91 and they are way too stiff for off road but great on the street. I’m going to get OME at some point. The only ones I can get for my T are the SAW bars. I think this is because they are already as thick as the OMEs. I can use the downeys if I ever need...
Great write up. I’ve got a t100 with a four wheel camper and the suspension is identical, just wider. I did 1” bjs and didn’t drop the diff and now modding the wheel wells for 33’s so I can keep my COG low for hitting trails with my camper on. Looking at sway a ways but like the flex I get with...
This issue appears to vary from vehicle to vehicle because you need to take in to account how much the truck bed and frame is flexing during articulation movements in relation to how much the camper is flexing under the same stress. More secure turnbuckles is one potential solution but it...
Even though I’m looking at replacing my T bc of a growing family I think it’s the best truck out there. You’ve chosen the best out of the box Toyota ever made!
Mine had similar mileage as yours when purchased and hasn’t missed a beat. The suspension design is very robust and simple to repair...
Nice T! Hard to find in that condition. There's also a tundra/t100 thread but the t100 is olds cool in my book as well. Any info or a thread on the camper?
Nice to see a T100 abroad! Any more info? Looks to be a 95 I assume with a 3.4...
Was this bought in the us and brought there? Love that snorkel too, didn't know they made them for T100s. I'd like to know how to get one for my T.
Those are awesome pics! Where are good places to explore by 4wd? I've got a trip up there this summer but don't know where else I should go to explore. Staying at Kirk creek.
Thanks Rodger and simo!
I've always wanted the original M/T Alcoas but never found any so eagle alloy it is! They take a lot of maintenance being polished aluminum but I like that they are "different" now that many wheels are matte or black.
Nice. I didn't notice the sig. Sorry, not sure if it's bc I'm on tapatalk...
What size are your ko tires? I just got a set in stock size and like them a lot.
I know someone that has done a lot with those uniball uppers but they are in CA. I thought about that for my other truck but went with...
Yes! Another T100!
Do you have a build thread? Curious mostly about that bumper, TJM?
Lift and tires too, I have a set of 80 wheels waiting for the next setup. One of my favorite factory wheels...
That's a pretty cool combo IMHO but if power is what you're after you should wait for a v8. I have a t100 with that combo and have a 4WC eagle in the back. I have an SC with URD 7th and I know it's still not what a v8 would be and nor would it be as quiet at least with the auto.
Glad to hear there's a fighting chance for some of your stuff. There's good people out there and it's great to get reminders every now and then.
I live north of there in Tacoma but will be traveling south for the weekend to Portland so I'll keep my eyes peeled for the truck. I know it well...
Congrats on a beautiful T!
I picked up a 98 about a year ago and love it too. Yours is super clean and even better it's a manual! Hard to find them in that good of shape anymore.
