    CDN M101 in Vegas

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. The tent acts as a lid and the rack sits on the lip of the tub. I’ve also been busy adding to the trailer with a Road Shower 4 and mounted 11lb. propane tank

Rtt Tepui or CVT Rugged or not? Is it worth it?

What's the difference between standard and Summit series? The website wasn't very clear on that.

Rtt Tepui or CVT Rugged or not? Is it worth it?

After several years with a regular Tepui Kukenam, I "upgraded" to the Kukenam ruggedized XL. While I had no problems with the first tent, the soft aluminum floor was getting some wear from a lot of off-road use. I also have to imagine that being mounted on a trailer subjects the tent to a bit of...

    **Tepui RTTs and Accessories**

I do the same. I have a rubber floor mat the I place between the ladder and the tent when stowed and under the base of the ladder when deployed.

    CDN M101 in Vegas

I've often wondered what my trailer weighs. So, I took it in to work today and put it on the scale. "Empty", with RTT, spare tire, hi-lift jack, tongue box w/battery, it weighs in at 1200 lbs. and I figure another 300 lbs for gear when camping for a total of around 1500 lbs.

Tongue Jacks - show me what you're running

Shortly after welding the Jack mount to the tongue of my CDN M101 I installed a tongue box making it unusable. Finally got around to welding on a second that was further up the tongue and was usable. The original mount is used to stow the Jack and the new one is for when the Jack is s in use...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Installed new rear springs on the Jeep. Went with Currie LJ springs that are stiffer and keep the rear end from sagging when towing the trailer.

    CDN M101 in Vegas

Years ago I bought a trailer jack and had a friend weld the mount on the tongue for me in a position that allowed me to stow and use the jack. Shortly after, I installed the tongue box and that made the jack mount unusable. Finally got around to getting another Jack mount and had my friend weld...

    New Jeep decision help....

A four banger is definitely a show stopper. Everyone I've known with one has said if they could do it over again the would not think twice about getting the I6 instead. He thought for you is if I could do it over I would go with an LJ (Rubicon in my case). The longer wheel base for towing and...

RTT Owners - Double Wide Sleeping Bag or Sheets + Comforter?

From the first time out with my RTT it's always been sheets and comforters. The most comfortable sleep I've had camping especially when sharing the tent with my wife. I've tried double wide sleeping bags and found we always fight over the bag and pull at it through out the night.

    Overland TJ's (Ideas, Pic's, etc for 97-06 Jeep TJ's)

My first Jeep was a bone stock 99 Sahara that got totaled in 2007. It was the excuse I needed and picked up an 04 Rubicon that had a 4" lift and rock rails. I installed new front/rear bumper w/ swing spare carrier, winch, skid plates. Storage wasn't too much of an issue for weekend camping...
