    Mike's M416 Rebuild

I maybe missed something, but just use the mounts that come with the rotopax. I mounted mine to the front with the included self tapping screws. They are very secure but not lockable.

I will hopefully be painting soon and was thinking of doing it in camo. I was planning on rattle canning it with Rustoleum...they have a camo selection with flat tan, olive drab, black, brown and white. Having never done this before any advice would be more than welcome:) Something similar to...

New build and looking for some guidance

My lights arrived. They were a bit of a pain to get them shipped into Canada as I couldn't find a dealer who would order them. Eventually I found one and paid more than I would have liked. 180$ for the pair.

That's exactly what he was saying. The por-15 dries so hard that he said its difficult to get a good bond with the paint. I don't know...I'm in no way an expert in any of this stuff. I suppose I will por-15 and paint only the underside first then tip the trailer back over and do the top and...

New build and looking for some guidance

I took the tie downs ect to a "do it yourself" sandblasting. Cost 20$. It seems like it may be a pain to attempt to brush por-15 onto them. Also, I feel like because it will dry so hard that the swivels for the inside circular mounts wont spin. I should be fine to use an etching primer and...

New build and looking for some guidance

So I went and picked up some por-15 as I've figured out that its probably necessary with the rust on my trailer. I bought grey so that I can paint the por-15 directly and not have to prime the black stuff first...sounds logical, right? So if I understand correctly, after I use a wire brush on...

Well I picked up the trailer today from having the lid fabbed. Overall I am happy with the lid...it fits well and works which I suppose is the most important! But overall the welds look a touch rough and there are a few things that I'm disappointed in. I'm finally getting around to posting some...

    Matching Wheels

Lots of good info..thanks guys! I just spoke with performace wheel adapters and he needs some info that I cant get as my trailer is at the shop having the lid fabbed. Any help with length of the studs on the trailer? And hub size? I would hate to order adapters and not have them work:(

    Matching Wheels

K cool, I'll check ebay. Is the adapter going to work as a spacer as well? If not I still need a spacer and may as well buy new hubs and a spacer. I have read that the dust cap is an issue with factory JK wheels so a 2'' spacer is required. If this is the case can a person get by with less of a...

Hey, yup M101cnd is correct. Ya both of those links are great and the one gave me some information on painting with por-15 which was good. I dont know how much I want to spend on the paint or how much time I want to spend doing it...maybe I'll just silicone the seams and prime and paint it...
