Where are all the solar blankets in the US?

While wandering the internet I found the Inverterstore.com and they have a surprisingly affordable folding 120 Watt kit. I can't vouch for these but they seemed interesting. Panel is here.

How to make a cheap isolated dual-battery setup for $50

This is the solution I've been exploring as an alternative to the traditional solenoid system but during my research I found this charger which acts as a DC to DC charger with multiple charging profiles (LIFePo, Lead Acid, Gel, etc.) AND also has a built in MPPT solar charge controller and...

Looking for some information and need some help from the Australian EXPO crowd.

Hello all! I'm trying to find more information regarding MCC Bull Bars for the Jeep Wrangler JK. I've only seen a handfull of pictures circulating the web. I was wondering if anyone had a picture of it from the side, either mounted on a JK or not. I'm looking to see what anfle the actual...

Public Advisory: Baja Racks, 5th generation 4Runner.

Is this an issue exclusive to Baja Rack and their designs or are people seeing this damage with full length racks from other manufacturers? (Gobi, Front Runner, Eezi-Awn, Etc.)

2013 Toyota 4Runner, Equipt Edition Build

Have you had any issues with heat dissipation in the center console? 65Watts seems like it would heat things up pretty quickly. Thanks.

    Blueberry Gone Wild FJ Build

I've often asks myself why more people don't go this route. Way cheaper and simpler than a dual battery setup which, more often than not, falls way short of its potential. High quality deep cycle is more than enough in 99.9% of cases. I think a lot of people go dual battery for bragging...

Krytos' TrailRunner build thread - 2014 4Runner Trail Edition

Update: February 16th 2015 So I think a plan is just a list of things that never happen (thanks, Way of the Gun) and nowhere is that more evident than in this build. I got a really really ridiculously good deal (did I mention how good the deal was?) on sliders and skids from a friend who traded...

Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx E-Rated or Goodyear DuraTracs D-Rated on a 5th Gen Trail

I'm leaning towards the Coopers, but they're a bit heavier than the Duratracs, to the tune of 6lbs per tire. The sizes would be 285/70/17. The only thing I can think of is that I'm already going up 14lbs per tire, I might as well keep going and go the full 20lbs.

Cooper Discoverer S/T Maxx E-Rated or Goodyear DuraTracs D-Rated on a 5th Gen Trail

Mostly because it's not just noise that accompanies an aggressive mud terrain, but an increase in rolling resistance, which in turn means a hit in Fuel economy. Both of these tires are hybrids, the inner treads are spaced together like an A/T, while the outer lugs are spaced more like an M/T...

    Smittybuilt rtt??

Truest adage ever uttered. Buy once, cry once. ARB recently pulled all stock/recalled all their SWAG and Roof tents to make sure they're certified fire retardant; Now when you climb into a Simpson or Kakadu, there's a huge label you can't miss stating this fact. Who knows what the...
