    We drove the east and west access 3 times and hiked the impassable 5 miles twice, to see whether our planned expedition could be pulled off. Met only the occasional cow. During our event same thing - just cows. Its a very inhospitable, remote area.

    no, I will not post a map - others may want to use their wits to discover this one without help. For the same reason I never use travel guides (even though I have written one some time ago) - I want to be my own Columbus, discover things myself. Doesn't have to be a first like the Americas.
