I hadn't really seen the TTA stuff before your post. The frame and side table look quite nice but it does indeed seem overdesigned/overly complex for what it does. Still tempted though

I hope they are all out camping and having a great time :giggle: You can't go wrong with the 4 Unit IGT. I have the GS220 twin stove and combine it with some of the stainless inserts and put a 2 Unit cutting board (not SP) on top of the inserts. Very versatile (y) Lots of different options...

The small fireplace is no problem at all. The small is backpacking size :). I took the fireplace to Schotland (NC500) last year as well and used it a lot. I grill whenever I get the chance ;) I put the grill flat on top of my main bag, but it should not be a problem in a pannier. I use a rotopax...

Took the small Fireplace on my motorbike tour of the Pyrenees two weeks ago. I still prefer a stainless bridge/grate, but so be it ;)

Welcome and nice looking gear :) Haven't seen the Living Lodge before. Looks roomy... How do you get on with the grill burner? I like it as more and more campsites prohibit the use of charcoal/open fire, but I wish it had a bit more oomph/power. Might have to experiment with different gas...

Hi Rich, welcome ! Admitting you have a problem is always the first step. It is all downhill from here

fully agree, stainless half pros are the way to go. I have never liked like chrome plates grates. The only one I have is the integrated grate/bridge for the small Takibi. I thought at one point I saw a stainless grate/bridge setup for the small on ebay but have never been able to find it again.

It is a shame this is a bit unwieldly/heavy to ship or I would send a pile over to the States ;) Really digging the combo. The middle 'rack' prevents your food from falling in the Fireplace and holds a skillet for sauce or onions etc. @snowpeak if you are following this thread....... ?

Quite some Petromax items for sale on Amazon, but I don't seem to see the grill ring.

It is a Petromax accessory for their Feuerhand Pyron. It is just the right size for the Large fireplace.

Just a nice night to make some homemade brisket burgers. I use a fire ring on the Large Fireplace. Perfect combo in my humble opinion. You get heat, you get some flames and you can grill. When you are done you just fold it up. What more do you want  These burgers were smoked with apple...

Wow, that is a nice 'factory' you have there. I am strictly into small projects as I do manual stitching only (I have no machine :giggle: ). Latest project was a leather idiot string for the beaver mittens I made earlier. Off to Lapland to go skitouring soon ? So sorry, back on topic....I am...

That is nice work there (y) Nice and overstated in true SP style :) Do you have a sewing machine that can handle these materials or is this 'honest handwork'?

I have two and find the sides really useful (especially with the 2 unit IGT) and take them along everywhere I go with the IGT. I don't know why SP discontinues such a good addition. SP too moves in mysterious ways......
