Chevy Express Van DIY spare tire carrier

I’m welding up a rear bumper right now so I will be mounting the latch to the bumper when I finish. The reason I used the poly bushings is that they have some flex to them. I think they have enough flex to allow the latch to be on the bumper without worrying about the difference in the...

Chevy Express Van DIY spare tire carrier

Great solution for our Chevy Vans. The bending on the hoops is designed to follow the body lines perfectly. I just started getting my tire carrier (drivers side), mounted. on my mounts I used poly bushings from Ruff Stuff for the hinge pivot.

Weldtec has Fox shocks that are valves for your van. They also carry 3” and 5” lifts for the Chevy Express. I’ve ridden in one with the 5” lift and it is a giant improvement from stock.

Where are all the 6.6 duramax vans?

I’m glad I picked it up quickly. The seller had another person in route while I was handing him cash. It’s a good starting point with the Sportsmobile Cabinets and the inverter/batteries/AC Syst. The Duramax engine is as quiet as a gas engine and just pulls Hard at any speed. It has that...

    1978 Dodge 4x4 van??

I have the same year Dodge Van. They are a little tricky to keep the electronics going with a voltage / rectifier/regulator thingy and an old school ignition system. I put a Mallory ignition box in mine and a an Edelbrock intake and Carb and it is pretty reliable.
