Adventures and Ramblings of a Lexus GX460 ("Land Cruiser Lite" URJ150)

Very nice, Love the new ride - I really like the idea of a GX, all the fun and looks of a LC without the price tag.

Is a stock Sport ok for Overlanding??

Your good to go, far too many people waste huge amounts of money on instant upgrades without actually going anywhere. Personally I've come full circle from being lifted with aftermarket bumpers front and back, auxiliary lights ( which I used once in 6 years ) and a slew of other things. As my...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

My 11 did it for a while, especially in the winter - for myself I've found its more to do with the angle of the nozzle when filling.

Waffling on ARB stubby vs. full-width for a JK Rubi.

Another vote for full length. I just swapped out my stubby for the stock bumper, as others have stated the stubby offers no real wheel protection in the event of a collision and I think with the exception of the ARB most are not airbag compliant, also I can replace the stock bumper for $50 bucks...

    New Jeep decision help....

Sensible choice for me would be a TJ or LJ with a straight six, irrational choice would be the Waggy. Good luck, all are winners!

    2007 JKU maintenance - advice

I'm coming up on 70K on my 2011, with 2.5 inch lift, OME shocks / coils, AEV drop brackets, and 265 75 16 Cooper ST's. Just replaced the starter motor at around 65K after the pinion gear wasn't retracting quickly enough on cold starts and was hitting the flywheel. Upgraded all the bolts where...

Modding a Wrangler to Match Land Cruiser Reliability?

In defense of the 3.8, I have to say that my 11 JK has been incredibly reliable. Sure some days in pings and rattles under load, and loves to burn as much oil as gas but it always gets me where I need to go and home again. Most of the trucks in Ronny's videos are diesel based and kitted out to...
