Adventure Tool Company's (ATC) 4wd Provan Tiger adventures

BritKLR, how is your Tiger doing in sand? Have you weighed it yet? My dually wasn't getting it done. I'm converting to SRW and some 12" wide tires to hopefully improve southwest travels.

2011 Ram DRW to SRW Conversion?

The wheel was 20x10. A 295 on a 10" wide wheel would mount but be unusual. As for 35" tall tires fitting, go to any of this threads and tell them all about it...

2011 Ram DRW to SRW Conversion?

I have ordered 5 Method NV/HD wheels and 5 Nitto 305x65r18 Ridge Grapplers a 12 ply "F" rating more than enough for the 6,500 lbs. on the rear axle. Because this tire/wheel will be about 5.75" positive from hub mount surface, I installed 3.5" Bushwhacker pocket fender flares to cover them. At...

2011 Ram DRW to SRW Conversion?

why not? They don't fit a stock Ram 3500. They weigh twice as much and cause stress on stock components. Price is double and carrying a spare is a major location problem.

2011 Ram DRW to SRW Conversion?

ram3500 drw to srw I am in the process of going SRW on my DRW Ram 3500 4x4. Method 305 NV/HD wheels are rated @ 4,500 lbs. I'm putting Nitto Ridge Grapplers 305x65r18's. rated @ "F" 3,950 lbs. My ram 3500 dually had Yukon free spin hubs. I am converting the hubs to SRW (3" narrower on each...

    2007 Chevrolet 3500 Tiger CX 4x4 6.0 Vortec, California, $72,000

low mileage Tiger These are great rigs. My 2013 had less than 500 miles when I bought it in Oct., 2016. I'm going to watch this auction. BTW mine now has 30,000 miles.

    Another two Sportsmobile design failures.

For what it's worth. IMO, the issues discussed are RV Industry wide. My Provan Tiger Ram 4x4 suffers from the same design/build quality failures. I have Aluminess products front and rear. The typical industry suppliers for all the rest of the bells&whistles. Quality is hit&miss due to research...

Advice on which truck to handle a Hallmark K2?

1-1/2 years ago I was interested in a Hallmark and went to their shop. After a tour by the owner and we discussed trucks. He recommended a 1 ton gas, diesel if I was in a hurry. By the time I added the numbers, I realized I was in the lightly used Tiger Bengle RV range. A year later and I...

2013-2017 Ram 3500 front axle disconnect? (Paralysis by analysis)

Yukon hubs I did the Yukon hub conversion on my 2012 Ram3500. Expensive but money well spent IMO. Less wear and tear and better fuel economy will pay it back in the long run. Really made tight turning much easier with the 2Lo option.

2005 Tiger Provan CX 4x4 1 Ton 26K Miles Original Owner

Tiger owners Opinion IMO $35K was a fare price. As mentioned these are rare to find "for sale". My understanding is Provan has been making truck based Tigers since 1995 but only at a 20-25 vehicle rate a year. I watched the Tiger Owners Forum for almost a year before finding the one I wanted...
