I have one, and it fit just fine in my 100 series, and still fits really well in my 2016 4Runner...you shouldn't have any issue with fitment in an 80 series. -H-

Reports as of 1/11/17 that Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point), just south of Ajo and Sonoita has fuel, with no problems. Heading South on Saturday for a couple days...but taking a couple jerry cans just in case.... -H-
