What is gained by a gas 3/4-1 ton over 1/2 ton truck?

I do, I go backpacking Sometimes. It’s wonderful, I take 30 lbs of gear on my back. Goes toe to toe with any “expedition” out there. Way more immersive in the outdoors, way more technical terrain, way more wild life, way further from the generators in the next camp spot. camping is great, but...

Feeler post....trying to gauge pricing (built 200 series imminent sale)

Pristine kit choices on this build. If someone is looking for a fully kitted 200 it would be a deal at anything less than $65k in my eyes. bone stock 2013 with 125k miles is worth $45k.

Am I insane for buying a used 200-series right now?

A built 2013 200 series with less than 100k for $45k is a bargain in this market I would not part with my 2013 200 for less than $50k :) (biased yes)

    Warning re Jackery product quality/design

thanks for your input on this. Very interesting. Given your experience, do you think it's reasonable to assume that battery pack like the jackery would survive a fall from about 35 inches (suv floor height plus 8" of drawers)? And if not, be user repairable? thanks!
