    99 Grand Cherokee Adventure Rig

Get the long arms if your going with a 4" lift the ride is way better. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

    99 Grand Cherokee Adventure Rig

I'm estimating I have about 500lbs of extra weight over a stocker. I usually tow a trailer for camping but added a roof basket for a trip that I didn't want to use the trailer on and could not have been happier with the ride while fully loaded with camping gear and three bikes on the hitch rack...

    99 Grand Cherokee Adventure Rig

Completely unloaded I'd say it's a lot stiffer than stock but I'm never without my fullsize spare, some recovery gear and I have a hidden winch mount in the front with synthetic line. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

    99 Grand Cherokee Adventure Rig

I have IRO long arms and BDS 4" springs on mine and it rides great loaded down with camping gear. The unloaded on road ride is a little stiff but nothing I would complain about or trade for the extra load capacity of BDS. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

Stupid weird AC condensor/PS cooler failed. HELP!

You should be safe with the aftermarket kit as long as you can get a good flare on the hard lines you cut. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

Lifting WJ without sacrificing much towing ability.

I ran the OME HD springs for years in my WJ and towed a 5000 lb camper I wished I swapped them in sooner it was such an improvement.

After an exhaustive search, can someone direct me to a build.....

Here's some picks of mine but I never got around to doing a build thread on it.

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Replaced everything belt driven but the power steering pump to get ready for some summer trips. The water pump and AC compressor were leaking and I didn't trust the alternator to last much longer.

    coleman coffee maker upgrade

I found it on Amazon and the 4 people that reviewed it said it replaced the glass carafe without a problem.

    coleman coffee maker upgrade

That's a good upgrade I always worry about breaking the glass on mine. If it fits it should work do you have any measurements on it?

    Overlanding Tires

I'll put a vote in for the Duratraks. Great on road wet weather traction and they are great in the snow also. A very good compromise between full mud terrain and an all terrain tire I think.

    Overland Hammock Camping

I'm a side sleeper also but have never had a problem sleeping in my hammock and I think I wake up more rested with less sleep.

Surviving a severe wind , rain storm tips

I was camping on the beach in Maryland and a storm came trough just before dinner and destroyed many ground tents. One of the boxy Coleman family tents next to us literally folded over with a big gust of wind. Our dome tent survived but just barely and I had sand anchors instead of regular tent...

    Thanksgiving in Moab

I've cooked our thanksgiving turkey on the rotisserie for the last three years and everyone loves it. It gets a nice crisp skin and comes off really moist. Could be done outside over a campfire with a homemade or store bought setup but I would really want something electric to turn it though...

Why spend so much on an ARB fridge or Engel Fridge instead of electric cooler?

I have the Coleman version of that and it's ok for inside the house but the problem is they only cool to about 30deg below outside temp. That made use inside the car prohibitive for anything above 60 with ought adding ice.

    1 person tent

Try Bass Pro Shops. I picked up a 3 man tent that they call a backpacker for $50 during the Father's Day sale. It isn't light at 9lbs but it had a full cover rain fly and I only had one leaking seam after the third setup. I'm not sure they have 1 man tents but its worth a look.

    Show your leveling jacks

I just added this one to stop my trailer from tipping while unloading. I pull a pin and store it like this.

    Tent heater ideas please

Yea my 3yr old doesn't get the whole stay in the sleeping bag thing yet either. We got the kids adult bags and folded them under them on top of the cots so they have more pad to sleep on. We also had the kids sleep in these fleece snowsuit sleeper looking things with the feet built in.

    show me your flex

Had a lot of rubbing with the tire this stuffed I'm thinking a 1/2 inch bump stop extension is needed.
