I had trouble finding this in the Play store with a search, but I tried again using the link above, and this time I was able to install it. Thanks!

    Software Storage Solution…kinda

Just found this, and Google says it's for a previous version of Android. Is there any chance of an update for the newer OS?

Sewing Thread....A discussion on making your own adventure textile gear.

This latest project is kinda "crappy." ? A bag for my portable toilet and extras. For decades this has bounced around in the back of my Tacoma on trips. Now all the bits are contained together. I added to the complexity considerably by some design decisions, but I'm still learning. Main...

Nice! I have 3 used Zarges cases that I plan to use in my GX once the drawer/platform is built. I still haven't decided what goes where, but was thinking of modular packing cubes to go inside. ? The problem is the opening is smaller than the wall dimensions, so space is lost one way or the...

I can vouch for the Worker B. It has great slow speed control.

You might look for a used Sailrite LSZ-1 zig zag or LS-1 straight stitch machine. They are walking foot machines and designed to do this sort of work. They can be found used locally sometimes, depending on where you are. There is a Sailrite users group on FB that periodically has machines posted...

Sold FS ARB 50 qt. Refrigerator Freezer, Austin TX $600

It came with the trailer, which was built in 2016. The trailer was built in CO and shipped to and used in Alaska. I bought it from the original owner 2 years ago, so the last 2 years have been "dusty." A couple trips to Big Bend and mostly local trips. It works perfectly.

Here is another project. Webbing wrap and handle for my old camp table. The Cabelas table has the legs integrated, and the elastic that held everything together failed long ago. I have been using a bungee to hold it together, but it takes 2 hands to carry and I don't like to use the bag. So...

Thank you, sir! And thank you for the idea, and the photos which helped me puzzle it out.

Here is my version of Paul's storage bag for my Magma Cookset. It was probably not the best first real sewing project, but I learned a lot. Very challenging at times. This is actually the second iteration. The first was too tall, had very poor seams in many places, and other issues. I almost...

Thanks for the reply. Since I won't likely be doing stretchy bits or sails, I can get by with a straight stitch machine.

I got some Cordura, thread and other bits, and did some testing to see how well my domestic machine would handle it. It turns out that I can sew 4 layers of 1000D Cordura with a double layer of binding nylon. That should be sufficient for most projects, but I am starting to look at used (or...

Paul, I have a few questions about this project. What foam and how thick did you use? Would you be willing to walk me through the way you assembled this project? Not really a tutorial, just the order of operations to get it done. I think it would be a good illustration of how to assemble many...

First project was a simple one, but I have needed them for over a year. This is part of what prompted me to get a machine. I use a lumbar cushion when I drive. Healthy Back used to sell covers for their cushions, but now they don't. Top is the cushion and the old cover. My other cover is...

Yes, it absolutely was gummed up from lack of use, but only the reverse mechanism and the stitch length dial. Some repeated applications of PB Blaster and gentle heat from a heat gun gradually got it freed up over a week's time of occasional work. It also needed adjustment of the feed dog...

After months in the shop, where they didn't do anything, I finally got my machine back and working. They put WD-40 on some of the linkages and let it sit, to no avail. The reverse button was stuck pushed in, and the motor wiring wasn't correct.. They did put a new drive belt and bobbin winder...

    Canvas Topper

I have had two Bestops on my 2003 Tacoma. They work pretty well, but do have some downsides. Everything is harder to do in cold weather, since the fabric shrinks. They are not completely weatherproof. Water can get inside and dust is everpresent offroad. Over time, the plastic elements become...
