    Micro four thirds

Mine too! I have both the original and the newest version; this new version (at least my copy) is impressively sharp. For my type of photography (mostly landscape) it is the best. Rarely have to switch lenses.

    Micro four thirds

For biking/hiking you might consider the Sony RX100 VI or the newest VII. Tiny camera but wonderful image quality, with a superb zoom lens. It's what I keep in my pocket most times when hiking.

    Micro four thirds

I went to Micro four thirds several years ago but I went with Panasonic. First the GH2, then a G9. I liked the G9 so much that I bought another one so I'm not changing lenses so much. It is a big camera for Micro four thirds but the ergonomics to me are so good that I love handling it. It...

    Quigley Duramax Sportsmobiles

No, the Allison was not available in the vans. If I remember correctly, it was just too big to fit. As far as the suspension, everything I've read from people who owned them is that it works very well. Much better than the straight-axle Ford conversions as far as highway driving. Never have...

    Mid-size vs Full-size truck setup

The 2025 Ram 1500 will no longer have a V8 engine. Stellantis is following Ford's lead so that new Ram will have a twin-turbo 6 cylinder (but straight 6 instead of V6). I wouldn't want to be a beta tester for a new engine. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2025-ram-1500-first-drive-review/

    Mid-size vs Full-size truck setup

As I've said previously, trailers limit you as to where you can go. I know, I tow all the time and run into this problem so when I have a trailer hooked I make sure I stay on well maintained roads. Here's a pic I took when out and about two days ago. Pic may not look like it but that ditch...

    12 Valve adventure rigs?

....it helps if you are deaf, or don't mind wearing ear plugs..... (I drive a Dodge/Cummins 3500 dually)

I Found it in the Woods

At the altitudes in Great Basin Park, trees grow very slowly...and live seemingly forever. Some have been found that are nearly 5,000 years old - so 132 years is nothing.https://www.nps.gov/grba/planyourvisit/identifying-bristlecone-pines.htm

I Found it in the Woods

Found a complete bus near a spring in a very remote region of northern Nevada. Been there quite a while, the trees had grown into the bus.

    New Garmin GPS-Rumors

Agree! I often run two GPS units side by side with different information displayed on each and that's when the difference in lighting is most noticeable. I've heard a lot of good things about the new Tread series. They are as capable as the Montana and the displays are much brighter. I may...

    Life expectancy of a 365 hp 3.5L V6

I have a 2016 Ecoboost 3.5, bought it new so 8 years old now. It has been flawless. All I do is change oil/filters and rotate the tires.

    Bike to Base Camp Communications

What Ozarker said! In mountains only reliable communications is by satellite - and then you have to make sure your units have a clear view of the sky. I'm part of a Sheriff's Search and Rescue unit. We use HAM radios, and the fancy Hi-band units the Sheriff's Department uses with their...

    6.4 v8 dodge owners?

The 6.4 is down on power from the 7.3...but not by much! I've never owned one but have a couple close friends that do in Ram 2500s and they are happy with them. Most importantly, they have had no problems with the engine or transmission and both are now approaching 100,000 miles.

F150 Tremor vs diesel Silverado ZR2?

This was a major consideration for me when truck shopping as I travel in some very remote areas. The F150 was the only one with a 36 gallon gas tank, GM and Ram were only mid-20s, so at least 10 gallons of gas less. That makes a big difference in the back country unless you like to pack along...

How is highway driving with a 2024 4runner TRD Off-Road

OP wanted opinions on how the 4Runner was on long trips. Since I own one and had an opinion, I answered. If I could have that Ecoboost in my 4Runner (and some sound deadening in the wheel wells to kill road noise) I'd consider the 4Runner an ideal SUV for anyone who travels rough trails in...

How is highway driving with a 2024 4runner TRD Off-Road

I have a 2022 4Runner...and a 2016 F150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost. I find the F150 more comfortable, and the cabin quieter, than the 4Runner. If in the mountains, with steep grades and high elevation, there is absolutely no comparison. The F150 hardly notices. The 4Runner runs out of breath and...

    Gladiator - Good/Bad?

We all have our own reasons for owning a Jeep. I'm old...been a Jeep owner most of my life. Current is a 2006 Wrangler Rubicon. ONLY time I've had my roof off is when I removed it to paint it. Mostly dry, dusty roads around here; take off doors and roof and the cab area will be inundated...
