    Croc Hunter '92 MJ

Thank you! I really enjoy driving this '92. I just recently started working in Montana again and living out of hotels for the past 4 months. So not much working on Jeeps. I am a traveling mechanic now though and have a ************ mechanics truck that I can take home! When I find a home. The OM617...

    Diesel Comanche build

Nothing new on this Jeep unfortunately. I haven't even seen it since October. I'm finally getting my life together again to where I can have all my Jeeps in one place. All this Jeep needs is for me to build the front long arms and the rear bumper/rear lights. Been driving my '92 MJ all over some...

    MJ Auxiliary fuel tank

Yeah I ended up using a switch from a ford pick-up with dual tanks, wiring both pumps, and used two in-line fuel check valves, to keep pressure from going back into the system that wasn't being used. I have the filler neck going inside the bed right now, but I want to put in an XJ fuel door on...

    Post Pic's of your Jeep

Thank you morerunner and swift7777! I really do love this jeep like family, I have had it since 2005. It survived my teenage years, went all the way up to 35's. And now I have it right where I want it. The wheels are off late model dodge chargers/magnums, same wheels I run on my Comanche. They...

    Let's see your LJ's!

Yeah WTI, I was going to re-enlist if I could've gotten orders to Yuma but it didn't happen so I was out in June of 2012. Some beautiful country to explore out there, I was on night crew and would see that sunset everyday. Have never seen a sunset anywhere like those in Arizona.

    Let's see your LJ's!

Yuman, I remember seeing your Jeep when I was in MCAS Yuma for a couple months, back in the fall of 2011. I used to look at it everyday on my walk to and from work haha along with a nice Ford Raptor nearby. Beautiful Jeep!

    Diesel Comanche build

Blakeape, I haven't been able to work on the jeep for a while now, I am in Texas for work for a while. I was able to drive it before leaving MT but only up to 45 mph because it still has short arms on it and the death wobble was terrible. Acceleration was impressive and almost as good as my 4.0...

    Comanche and Cherokees

The Comanche to look at would be the '90, that '88 has the peugeot tranny and the price is way high anyway

    Diesel Comanche build

Been driving around the property in the Comanche lately, the power of this little diesel in the Comanche is quite impressive, close to my 4.0. Unfortunately I can't take it over 40 mph until the long arms are built. Can you say DEATH wobble? haha the bed is on and painted with some duplicolor...

    Help needed

Prob wouldn't leak much since that seal is above the fluid level, only the chain takes oil up there. But even the slightest play in the bearing would cause that howl in 4HI, even a U-joint or a front axle yoke bearing.

    Help needed

Sounds like it might be a front output shaft bearing, I'd get under there and try to feel for any play in the front yoke.

    Croc Hunter '92 MJ

Thanks Billy, I have a tire repair kit, nothing fancy just some plugs and the plug insertion tool, they've never let me down. As for on-board air, the MJ is non-ac so I've been collecting the parts to go off a factory compressor, and a small 2.5 gallon tank under the bed.
