Ford E-350 Ambulance trailer wiring help needed.

@Ambolorian , did you make any headway on this? I am currently with the same era (2001) vanbulance wanting to add a brake controller and 7 pin harness. I've got a pretty good parts dept. at my local dealership, going to try there to see if they can shine some light. The grey plug would be for a...

Is it possible to do a cutaway camper with your panels? Are you familiar with the rules regarding mounting seats in the camper box with seatbelts? These ambulance chassis in Quebec have my gears turning. Thanks!

AT Horizon Roll Call / Mods / Pics

Digging this one up a bit... As a new to us horizon owner, wondering if someone might be able to measure the dimensions of the tent load bars. Looking at picking up a set of @wheeleveryweekend 's super trick tent security mounts. In Cali right now, and the trailer is not with us. Thanks!

How to calculate force required for gas springs

The roof appears to lift 16", but you're only using a 10" stroke gas shock? If you use 4 100 lbs shocks together, you'll need that much force to close the roof also.

Official Test Results: Five Ways to Heat a Tent

I have also noticed a great deal less condensation with the Propex in cold temps. I used to get enough condensation in the tent that the moisture would drip from the roof and poles in the RTT.

Anyone using the Redarc Tow Pro Brake Controller

I just finished installing one in my Tacoma. No real world use yet, as we are starting to get snow here in Canada. Would highly recommend based on install though, you can place the controller and the main box anywhere you'd like as the two are connected with a cat-5 ethernet cable.

Hand pump for Adventure Trailers air bags?

My plan was to set the pump on the tongue and inflate from there. My Horizon has a nice flat section for the pump.

Toby the Turtleback Trailer Build Thread

Have you weighed your trailer/tongue? I imagine the rotopax stay empty for highway travel? Seems like a lot of weight hanging off the back of the trailer. Glad you enjoyed the Canadian Rockies, I'm in Calgary!

Interesting, I had submitted an enquiry about previous models of their xventure line and didn't get much info regarding anything new. They did mention moving to an ark brand hitch and some electrical changes. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
