Please Help! 2011 Tacoma power draw issue.

I've disconnected everything I've added, winch etc. The draw is happening with the key off and I've checked every fuse/relay behind the coin holder and in the fuse block. The only way it stops is if I remove the power to the 140 amp alternator fuse. I've disconnected the starter and alternator...

2011 tacoma I went to start my truck this morning after driving it last night, but the starting battery was too dead. I always maintain my batts with the approved oddysey chargers and nothing was left on. I pressed my "combine" switch and waited, but it was still to dead for anything more than a...

Battery tray for Sears Platinum group 31 P1 for bed of vehicle

As the title suggests, I'm looking for a good tray/Box/Hold down for a Sears group 31 to mount in the bed of my truck. I would like it to be secure, but not super heavy. I don't need anodized purple flames, and I don't think anyone will be shooting full metal jackets at this thing, but I would...

Next build, need some advice - Flipac or topper/shell or trailer?

My current overland truck is an 01 tacoma reg cab with a rack and eezi-awn 1400 ttop. This has worked well for me, but the family has now reached numero four, and the seating only accomodates 3. The next platform is purchased, a 2011 4door tacoma short bed, so seating is no longer a problem...

T-top RTT Wall modification, great for winter camping...

If you own a T-top style RTT, then you know how awesome the lower annex is... And you also know what a pain it is to unpack, unfold, sort, attach, remove, fold, and pack... It seems most the time you just leave the thing packed up because it isn't worth the time and effort to install for one...

100,000 miles and beyond recommended service and part replacement?

I just rolled 100,000 on my 01 tacoma, and I'm planning a major overhaul to insure I can get another trouble free 100k. Beyond the basic listed service items (fluids, filter, plugs etc.), I'm wondering what else I should do - the truck is only used for remote trips, so failures that can leave...

    I wish someone made....

A lightweight bed replacement camper or utility body that was really compact. One that didn't extend above the roof or sides, and had a good departure angle. If it were a utility body it would have to be short so that an RTT would not be taller than the cab. It would be great to mount the RTT on...

    Handgun Hunting story.

On my last trip I decided to take advantage of my hunting license and harvest game to supplement my meals during and after the trip. I had some wonderful grouse and wild mushrooms fried in beer, but also took a deer. Funny thing about the deer, it just so happened that I got close enough to a...

    Magruder Trip Report

This was a week long trip to explore the Magruder corridor and Lolo trail which lies in western Montana and Eastern Idaho. It is also called the Nez Pierce trail. as they used it to migrate the rockies and later to evade unwelcome spheres of lead being hurled at them. Originally we had 4 rigs...

    T-top rtt owners

Do you leave the standing room attached all the time and fold it up connected to the RTT, or do you unhook it and store it separately attaching it only when needed? If you unhook it each time; do you unzip the four panels and fold each one or keep them all zipped to each other and fold it up as...

    9 days for two bucks

This trip was mainly a scouting/exploring endevour around the land surrounding Fort Peck lake in Eastern Montana. This lake is so massive, and the country around it is so vast, that I could only briefly peek at points along half of it. I will explore the other half next year.
