    What are the better tent stakes for soft sand?

    I have used plastic grocery bags. Filled with sand and buried a foot or so deep. Then tied to the tent stake loops.

    Had ours for a bit over a year, no problem with the paint. A few scratches but it holds up well.

    My Parents lived in Kamiah for many years. Spent a lot of time there. Used to love camping on the North Fork of the Clearwater River. But I especially loved up the Selway area. Nice Boykin Spaniel.

    Help wiring a 3rd brake light.

    The wife suggested installing some hooks into the sides to hang clothing on and to use in securing cargo. I'm thinking about screwing some 1/2 inch number 8 eye/hooks into the sides below the bed slide rail. Has anyone done this?

    they look very nice, but spendy. I'm also looking for storage that allows me to use most of the truck bed. Will probably build something to fit just the wheel wells.

    I keep changing my mind about adding the extra height. I wonder what the % of campers are built with the extra roof height? I'm 6 foot tall so the added height may be a benefit.
