    Bodega vehicle fridge / freezer

I have a 100AH lifepo4 battery that is charged by my jeep when I drive and when I'm parked for a few days I have a folding 160AH solar battery that keeps it topped off. For ice cream - put in one of the freezer inserts on the bottom. It's thin and when it gets really hot it might be an issue...

    Bodega vehicle fridge / freezer

Love it. Had it on plenty trips with me. Taking it on another weeklong trip next week. While at home I use it to bring frozen groceries from the store. How did I pay for it? With a credit card :)

    Hinge/tailgate weight capacity on a '12 JKU?

How long did you have each jeep? I'm curious about long term cracking/wear and tear on the body side mount. When I get home I'll pop off the tail light and snake a cam in there to see what's there. I got an idea that might work out pretty nicely but don't want to screw things up

    Hinge/tailgate weight capacity on a '12 JKU?

Howdy! So I got some ideas but before I even test them out and put them into something tangible I'm curious if anyone has an idea as to the weight capacity of the JKU hinge mount. I currently have the morryde hinge and gate stiffener but I wonder about the body side. How much weight can it...

    Rear Bumper Recommendations?

I used one of the light openings on my rear bumper to host the 7 pin connector. I just fabbed a plate that had the shape of the light.

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

Not sure if I mentioned this to you or the MOrryde folks, but many years back as a courtesy while having something else done Jeep replaced my stay rod under the TSB so I don't have the original one. I agree that the gap is the problem. I disagree about having to move the hinge around. The...

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

So it's .396. .021 out of spec. Not a lot, but still. Eyeballing it though I think even at .375 the spacer is too thick. Look at the gap that I have. What's frustrating is that I have sent the picture of the gap to them and indicated that even eyeballing it, the spacers look to thick based...

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

.43" +/- .01" - hard to measure without taking the hinge off

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

I'll say this: I sent pictures of how the spacer is too thick and misaligns the gate to the body. I provided a detailed description up above. Not sure what discussions still need to happen: a properly aligned hinge makes the gate sit flush is a good next step... Potential solution? Thinner...

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

So here's where I am at today. Morryde sent me replacement hinges thinking it's an issue with my hinges. I installed them and found that with the new hinges I still open close to 7 degrees past 90 degrees and the stay arm still pops out. The difference between my hinges and the new hinges is...

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

That's not a bad idea, but I wonder how much (knowing my luck) trouble I'm asking for by doing that. As a result the rod would be slamming against the other side of the mechanism.

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

Who should I reach out to? I'm currently working with Ryan. My biggest problem is that the stop is f-ed up as after reinsertion is making grinding/popping noises. Btw, while I partially agree with your statement about the 7 years, being quite a bit, there should be a note on the gate piece...

    Morryde hinge/gate reinforcement issue

so I'm talking with folks from Morryde and here's my findings so far: 1. The rubber piece would do squat for me as for one rubber compresses and wears out and at time would allow for more and more travel 2. I took a protractor and the hinge allows for opening of 15degrees past 90 (total angle...
