    LR3 and LR4 Brake Life

Getting 40-50k consistently on OEM brakes, on the LR4. Large amount of highway but primarily in town hauling kids, going to work, with weekend trips. Running 265-65-18 BFG All terrains. Light steady pressure on the brakes anticipating what is coming up

    Eezi-Awn K9 1.6M x 1250mm roof rack

These are great racks and this is a good price! I have one on my truck and they are tuff as nails. As mentioned, the rack is universal. Just need the correct mounting feet for your vehicle. GLWS

    I'd jump on that

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

Couple points. For those questioning the price of the 6 cyl; as was pointed out on another forum, the engine appears very high tech being able to harvest energy in a similar manner to a F1 car during deceleration and then send to the electronic supercharger to put out impressive numbers so it's...

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

Cargo area in previous 110 was 62 cubic feet so new is dramatically smaller. Can see the 130 being very popular option in the states at least and prob what I’d go with. Two kids, dog and gear, the truck fills up quick and that is just to the cabin without tent, sleeping bags, pads and kitchen...

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

Haven't heard much mentioned about this being an AWD setup vs. full time 4WD. To me that seems like a bit of a trade off and further complicates. Yes it has been a while since we could slide the stick over to lock the center up manually, but at least the LR3/4 kept an even split. Presume...

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

Reading that the 110 has 38 cubic feet in the back without 3rd row seats and only 32 with the seats when folded down...? The LR4 has 44. Major compromise. Depending on exact dimensions that could get tight for fridge and slide in the back. Speculation on when the 130 comes out?

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

Hmmm, all sounds like they slipped it in decently between the real Defender and LR4. Stronger, bit more rugged and utilitarian then the 4 but not what so many hoped to see. Softer truck for a softer world. I’ll likely still consider to replace my 4 in a couple years, but let’s hope there are...

    LR4 fridge placement

So what are all of you doing to access the spare when you have a flat? Can you still lower it without removing everything from your cargo area? Absent a swingout, that has been by big holdup on doing anything to permeant

    LR4 tires for 19"

Might as well keep it going. Still not easy finding suitable tires I put on the Continental TerrainContact A/Ts a last fall in factory size. Been very pleased so far.

    Decisions, decisions

Anyone have the Eezi-Awn K9 rack? Similar profile to the Front Runner but the slats run the length of the vehicle vs. horizontally across.

    Two tone 1985 RRC

I really like that combo! Nice find, good luck with giving it some new life. A truck like that deserves to be kept on the road.

    RRC Bottle Jack

Know some of the newer ones were a plastic body while the older had a metal body. Otherwise the same

    I want an LR4 and I have a question

Not completely true about the full size spare being a give away for the HD package. Often it is can be an indication but not always. To find an HD package just go onto AutoTrader and in the key word section put in “HD” and “heavy duty”. Quick search just brought up 3.

Wow, from what you posted that look very nice. Curious to learn more about what you did for re upholstering as I have not seen anyone go to that length on RRC at this point. Did they redo all the carpeting or just the door panels? Looks factory fresh! How was the body re. rust?

Two-time LR owner seeks third round of torture. What should I get?

Spend a little more time and find a D1 with desiel conversion! Really not that hard to find at this point, I know several folks that have them. Make sure it was a quality job and you'll have a special truck

    2019 LR Discovery SVX

Lots of great general platitudes straight out of marketing but light on substance. The supercharged V8 is sweet but looks like SVO went digging in the spare parts bin for that. Agree, throw a beefed up diesel. While at it, a locking front diff, some bumpers, sliders and a ruggedized interior...
