FS - Canopy/Pop-up Scissor Lifters (Australian)

I have 3 - "Poptop Canopy Lifter Flat Breha 900mm wide 685mm lift height 30kg" scissor lifts for sale that are from Australia. I bought these to use on my custom camper build and decided to go a different direction with the roof mechanism. They work great for a vertical lift and have enough lift...

Tundra 1.5" Spacers Requires Longer Studs?

I would order a set of Spidertrax Spacers because they will fit out of the box (unless something is funny with your Tundra). I have them on my 06 Tundra as pictured and have full engagement of the nuts. They are very popular with the Toyota crowd...

Tundra 1.5" Spacers Requires Longer Studs?

The way you were asking your question made it seem like you didn't understand how a spacer works. The stock studs are long enough for all the popular spacers. Here is a picture of my 06 Tundra DC with a spidertrax spacer on the front.

Tundra 1.5" Spacers Requires Longer Studs?

This might help you understand how the wheel spacers actually mount and work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jkldjk46Y0

    TaTundra 1 gen DC build

Did you replace the crush sleeve when you swapped the diff flange? Or is that diff already set up with a solid spacer? I just swapped 4.56 diffs from a 2001 Tacoma into my 06 Tundra DC and ran into the same size difference on the rear driveshaft to flange. Interesting that the older Tundras had...

Leibbrand's 06 DC Limited Tundra Build

Those are definitely OEM. The stickers and the way the upper rubber boot connects is unique to OEM.

    17x8" wheels w 3.5" BS & <-25 offset?

The truck just has Bilstein 5100s from the previous owner netting about 1.5" of lift in the front - back is stock leaf springs. I haven't experienced any rubbing yet with the 34s and it looks like the pitch weld would be the only place they might under full stuff with a turned wheel. The truck...

    17x8" wheels w 3.5" BS & <-25 offset?

I am running 34x10.5r17 KO2 on my Tundra without spacers. I did not want to run spacers and I wanted a 17x8 wheel because I don't plan on running a wider tire than 10.5 or 11 inches. The wheels I ended up going with are 17x8 -10 offset Level 8 MK6 - weight is 25lbs (2 lbs lighter than the stock...

Load range E on a tacoma?

BFG makes the same overall size KO2 in a load C for 17" wheels: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T%2FA+KO2&partnum=67SR7KO2RWL&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes Find yourself a set of 17" wheels from a Tacoma or 4runner and you can run the...

    1st Gen Tundra TRD package?

Actually, now that I am looking at this I might be wrong. For older Toyota's and Tacoma's the gear code is on the manufacturers door sticker on the drivers side. There is a by a letter, two digits, and another letter that translates to what the diff and gearing is. Mine says A03B which would...

    1st Gen Tundra TRD package?

It depends on if you plan to run larger than stock tires and what kind of driving you do. I live in CO so the lower gears are great because of the loss of power that happens at high elevation. I think the 4.10s probably give me better mileage because the truck isn't gear hunting when climbing...

    1st Gen Tundra TRD package?

I have an 05 access cab that is not TRD with an LSD and 4.10 gears that came stock. Easy to see if the truck has an LSD by looking at the back of the rear diff to see if it has an LSD sticker on it. I think they went to color matched flares on all the Tundra's for 05 & 06 (maybe 04 as well?).

BFG KM2 255/85/16 "skinny tire" impressions

I like the tires and look! I have a 2015 Tacoma that is built similarly and I am running 265/70r17 KO2 tires. I live in Colorado and not sure I would put bigger tires than that on without regearing. I think Toyota should have put 4.10 gears in the Tacoma for certain trims (TRD if it was actually...

    Another Gen1 Tundra Thread

Here is a good read on coilovers and everything that comes into play because there are a lot of variables that effect the actual ride. http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/coilovers/Part_1/

    Another Gen1 Tundra Thread

I had 884 coils on 90004s on my last Tundra with a plate steel bumper (+/- 100lbs) and got what I thought was the right amount of lift. Probably about 1.5-2" because I had a 1.5" aal in the rear as well. I think the 885s will give you plenty of lift - more like 2.5-3" from what I have seen. I...

    1985 4RNR TRD'ed

I agree on the OME springs being great having installed them on my 1st gen and you can buy them locally at Toytec. Do you need to extend the bump stops as well to protect the new oil pan since it must be significantly lower than the old one?

    1985 4RNR TRD'ed

Curious why you have decided to swap to an automatic? Seems crazy when the 88-95 R150 transmissions bolt right up and are easy to find. No way would I want to go backwards from a 5speed manual to a 4speed auto, but I know everyone has their preference.

FS: TRD 2nd Gen Supercharger for 5VZ - Used

Not really a rare beast because you can still buy these brand new for $2999. They are now badged as Magnuson (instead of TRD) who was the company that was producing them for Toyota. http://www.lceperformance.com/Supercharger-Assembly-3-4L-5VZFE-p/7015249-1.htm?1=1&CartID=0

Roof top tent on fiberglass cap?

I have a Leer with a roof top tent (Maggionlina) mounted on it and it is solid. I am running a Rhino Rack heavy duty bars that are on a track mount that I installed on the topper. I would just make sure whatever rack system you have or install is up to the task.

    Modern Farm Truck

Awesome build. I have an 88 XtraCab with a 3.4 swap that is a sleep currently (looks totally stock with the original chrome wheels). I have been debating how to upgrade the suspension and was thinking low-lift SAS, but now you have me considering doing a frame swap instead. I would do the same...
