So part of what I would like to do with my 96 LS involves skid plates to protect the important bits, however I am not really finding anything. Does any one know of a company that has skid plates for this year, or do I need to make/find a fab shop that can make some up?

Ok, so I am trying to find out what this part is called, the vehicle in question is a 96 montero ls, it has a 3.0 engine(i assume, it says 3000 on it) the part is what is right under the intake hose, center screen.
