    Leather Holster manufacturers

My favorite as well. Super comfortable for all day carry.

Don't Everyone Jump On This At Once

I'd bet they're tired of working on it. Yeah, the stock motor MIGHT go 500k, but not after you've stuck a snazzier turbo in it and a tuner to fool it into letting you exceed the max boost level deemed safe by the manufacturer. Of course, it's still stuck in a light truck chassis that's getting...

What do you use for a truck gun?

Y'all, I am a lover of guns all the way. However, I have a lot different view on rioting. Unless you can provide true shock and awe with your weapon, IE belt fed-full auto or explosives, engaging rioters is a no win situation. The only safe approach is avoidance. Take the extra time to...

    Nissan Photos - post your's

I've checked several trails off my almost twenty year old list. We ran Long Run to Hall Spring, then took that out to 33, jumped over to Skidmore Fork and Dunkel Hollow to Flagpole Knob. This stock truck continues to impress me, though I'm happy I removed the low hanging plastic and moved the...

    Nissan Photos - post your's

Thanks, it's the nicest truck I've ever driven. My wife and I are taking it up to the mountains again this week. I took a couple days off, cashed in my Hilton points and we're taking an early anniversary trip.

    Nissan Photos - post your's

I've had a ton of 4x4s, old Toyotas, a Chevy and a bunch of Fords. Nothing newer than 1990. I always had all these awesome ideas about them and built a bunch of them, several for mud racing, but the last few for adventure. The problem was, they all had 30 year old components that my anxiety...

2019 Frontier SV 4x4 Crew Cab LWB weekend adventure truck build

That happened the very first time I backed it up in the dark, only marginally effective. I need to make something out of sheet metal. Or, just gripe about it until they retire the truck. Mine is a very fisheye type lense and it is mounted 1/2" below the LED third brake light, which sticks out...

2019 Frontier SV 4x4 Crew Cab LWB weekend adventure truck build

Take care when mounting rear view cameras. Some fool mounted the one on my work truck shell a half inch below the third brake light. No problem in daylight, but at night the brake light flares out the camera to the point you can't see anything.

    Ford Fullsize Thread !!!!

Just judging by the style of it, looks like a Ranchhand bumper.

    Ram Rebel first drive

Did anyone notice the non-matching spare tire in the ExPo article? It doesn't even look like the same size.

    Considering a trade...

I just sold my diesel, I'll never own another one. I got tired of the expensive maintenance, when I didn't have any need for a heavy duty truck. I don't know about where you are, but around here diesel costs more than premium, which negates the better fuel mileage savings.

1989 F250, Diesel with F350 suspension and axles

This was a "haul the foreman and his lunchbox to the job site truck." I knew the man that drove it real well, he took perfect care of the truck. The company that owned it employed six mechanics full time to take care of equipment and trucks. That would have been a good trade. Unfortunately...

1989 F250, Diesel with F350 suspension and axles

First gear is already superfluous on the street. With 4.10, you'd be starting in third.

1989 F250, Diesel with F350 suspension and axles

EDIT: SOLD! I've got an 89 F250, diesel, 5 speed, 4wd with F350 axles and suspension professionally swapped in. This truck was originally two wheel drive. Speedo doesn't work, needs glowplugs and some body work. 255/85r16 mud tires with a full size spare and an extra set of Trxus MTs in...

    Coprate 10 bolt 8.5 inch

I've seen them hold up to large tires, big horsepower and tons of abuse in mud, and fail with stock tires on the street. Keep a spare axle shaft if you're really worried. If you wind up using the spare, then you should probably upgrade.

255/85R16 for trade near Richmond, VA

I've got five 255/85r16s, two almost new BFG KM2, three older Dunlop Mud Rover. I want to trade them for a set of less aggressive tires, preferably All-Terrains, 285/75r16 or 265/75r16. Tires are on my truck currently, so I can't sell them outright.

    6.5 or 454?

I used several of those trucks as work trucks. I liked the 454 allot better. It was allot more reliable, had plenty of power. The couple of 6.5 trucks we had were constantly in the shop. They still have the 454 truck, and it's running well after 300,000 hard miles. However, your mileage may...

Opinions On the 7.4 / 454 Suburbans and engine

Yeah. I have had terrible luck with chevrolet products, especially around that year, but I'd rock one with a 454, especially a Burb.
