    Breaker fight

The wire reads 0AWG but the thickness is of a 4/0 which is confusing. Diplostrat - I have no idea what you just said lol

    Breaker fight

If my wire is 4/0 and I just made a typo, I should be fine?

    Breaker fight

Hi all, So I have a solar system and recently upgraded my inverter and batteries. AGM (300ah) + ************/cheap inverter (3000w) to 400ah lithium batteries + nice voltworks pure sine inverter (3000w). Before the switch, there was a 300ah breaker installed between the two and it would trip anytime...

    Ambulance specific demo help

So I told my "handy friend" as he was trying to drill these out "what if attack from the bottom?" and he for some reason didn't think they were bolted to the bottom. For some reason I believed him when logically that does not make sense lol.

Ambulance build - 2006 Chevy Kodiak

Demo process coming along. Does anyone have experience with this plastic countertop material? It is the Strongest crap we’ve ever experienced. This entire drivers side is really hard for me because it’s all 3/8 plywood. I’m tempted to remove as much as possible and cover whatever’s left with...

Ambulance build - 2006 Chevy Kodiak

No problem. I purchased it from a private dealer - so it was more than your average auction ambo. But considering this will be my home and vehicle, I didn't see an issue. It's a 2006 Chevy 4500 duramax engine and allison trans. Purchased for $11,000, 206,000 miles and weighs about 13,500 maxing...

Ambulance build - 2006 Chevy Kodiak

Solar, batteries, and AC will be my biggest investment - which is why it's hard to justify a $1000 toilet haha. Hard to say, my dad lives in florida and I'd like to spend some time with him which is my biggest motivator for AC. The AC itself shouldn't be too complicated as long as my battery...

Hello all! My ambulance just arrived today! I'm thrilled, overwhelmed, and already tired haha. If anyone here wants to share their tips and tricks with ambulance builds I will gladly take it. I have a friend who is a technician by trade helping me (thank the lord). Here's a break down of the...

    Staying safe / spooky stories

These are the kinds of stories I want to hear about! They may seem silly to some, but to others who have experienced it - not so much. A few years ago I went on a beautiful hike in Tucson. A few miles in the trail veers right and declines into the shadow of the mountain. I was cruising...

    Staying safe / spooky stories

Care to tell? After the dozens of stories I've heard and a personal story myself - I don't rule out anything anymore. I'm very science driven but I also know that we don't have all of the answers when it comes to our strange world.

    Staying safe / spooky stories

I grew up camping and I currently live in Phoenix so I am no stranger to the wilderness. I know, for at least my first year, I will be visiting family and such and after that will stick with BLM/camp sites where I wont be completely alone...at least until I get comfortable. What worries me is...

    Staying safe / spooky stories

Hey everyone. I just purchased an ambulance which will be my fulltime home. I'm not naive enough to pretend like #vanlife on Instagram will be my reality so I've been looking into the more dangerous parts of the country so I know what to avoid. This has led to me to a topic I have always found...

This thread is exactly why people are so confused about solar for overlanding lol. Here I am thinking I'll be good with 600-1000w and thennnnnnn
