    Austin 4x4 Shop?

Any recommendations? The only shop I ever use is JeepMasters and they are always super busy, plus this is a little outside their area or expertise. Just want to get a quote and some minor work done on my E350/Ujor conversion.

    Canada to Baja and beyond

Yeah. I had a one month sabbatical and a week of vacation tacked on that I needed for Cozumel (I have a rental house there). Next time around it's gonna be at least 3 months.

    Need San Diego Installer ASAP

If anyone in San Diego has tools, skills and a place to swap bumpers, I'm paying $350, which is what Aluminess was charging.

Joe is trying to fit me in, thanks for the rec. WeldTec called me back and said "maybe". Agile said Dec. 1st at the earliest

Thanks. I left messages at Agile and Weldtec earlier today. I'll try the others mentioned tomorrow.

    Need San Diego Installer ASAP

So I had an appointment today in San Diego with Aluminess to get front/rear bumpers installed. Due to the Colorado wildfires, my CCV top install was delayed, I had to cancel the Aluminess install and they don't have any open install slots for 2 weeks. I'll be in San Diego on Monday Nov. 2nd for...

    Bumper options?

I need to upgrade the stock bumpers on my 2009 E350. Seems like most people go with Aluminess. I've also seen the Weldtec and Ujor designs. Anything else I'm missing? Should I just bite the bullet and go for the whole Aluminess setup?

    E350 4x4 Wheel Upgrade

I'm just going by what the previous owner told me. I'm sure he meant F250/350, since F150 is the wrong bolt pattern. And he claimed the 4x4 conversion was a U-joint installed by Green Fab in Alaska.

    E350 4x4 Wheel Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the rims/tires on mine but a little worried about the fronts. The previous owner had downgraded to some cheap stock F150 rims/tires for city driving and I'm not sure what he was running before that. I'd like to move up to at least 33s, but I'm afraid they're gonna rub up...

Thanks to freeagent, there's another contender: 2001 GMC Savana Quigley high roof, 76k miles, cargo van, very basic, $14000 vs 2009 Ford E350 low roof 51k miles - Ujoint 4X4 conversion. 5.4L V8. Aluminess ladder. Vantech rack. ARB sun shade/rain canopy. 2000 watt true sine inverter...

    Price range on a 4x4 Conversion for a 96 E350?

Looks like a cool project, but there's gonna be a ton of rust and $15000 for 140k miles seems high to me, even with Vanlife inflation. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/d/van-nuys-2004-chevrolet-astro-awd/7159378019.html I like Astros, my parents had one way back, so I know they aren't...

    Price range on a 4x4 Conversion for a 96 E350?

Thanks. I'm not new to 4x4 (I have older Wrangler and 4Runner 4x4s) and I think the kinds of places I plan to take the van will be problematic for a 2WD w/locker (offroad, beach, snow, etc).

    Price range on a 4x4 Conversion for a 96 E350?

Thanks. I've been looking nationwide for 3 months and these are the two best solid options I've found. Don't really want to keep searching for a year. Every time a good deal pops up, it's either a scam or someone snipes it within the hour. Vanlife is creating serious price inflation.

    Price range on a 4x4 Conversion for a 96 E350?

I'm looking at two vans right now: 2001 GMC Savana Quigley high roof, 76k miles, cargo van, very basic, $14000 or 1996 E350 extended high roof wheelchair van, 102k, power everything, $5500 My goal was an extended high top 4x4 van, under 100k miles, for $15000. I like the Savana...
