    Imperial Outdoors Xplore XR22

I actually talked to Tom's when I was shopping for my X-195. When they told me there was an additional charge for the PDI, I told them I wouldn't pay additional money for doing what they should be doing in the first place. (I agree with Raspy on this subject.) They said it was mandatory. I...

    New Roamer1

Thanks. I did find, and review, the build thread on your XL. Great details. I must have missed that thread when you were documenting the process. Sounds like it was a fun, but time consuming, project.

    New Roamer1

Interesting. I just watched their YouTube video walk through of the XL. Very similar concept to the X195. Haven't heard of Kingdom Camping before. How long have they been around? Do you own/travel in one? Any first hand knowledge of the build quality? Firm believer in competition betters...

    New Roamer1

I'll second Raspy's comment to also look at the X195. We looked at the R1, but coming from our Black Series HQ-19 we already had/or did not want, many of the "extras" added to the R1. (i.e. tools, dishes, outdoor kitchen, cabinet mods, etc.) ROA seems to have done a good job on the R1's...

Black Series HQ Tips, Tricks, and Learning.....

Couldn't I agree more that the McHitch will release effortlessly once the load is released. The key is determining what direction you need to move the truck and jockey wheel to get the load off the hitch- and that's the difficulty I found with the McHitch. Particularily the determining when...

I'm not familiar with this hitch. Is it a non-articulating hitch? Do you have a link to the hitch you're using?

Black Series HQ Tips, Tricks, and Learning.....

draykas2004- congrats on the new purchase. You're going to love the HQ-19. They are very nice, and capable, trailers. However, I disagree with Raspy on the McHitch idea, here's why. I also removed the poly block from my HQ-19 shortly after purchase and replaced it with the McHitch. I won't...

Pause 16.4 Dinette Table Slide- Need help locating manufacturer

Looks very similar. Google translated the link's description for me: Height adjustable by 37.5 cm. Lower height to lower edge table top 33.5 cm. Upper height to lower edge table top 71 cm. Table displacement with a central lock. Base plate with 6 holes for fixing to the vehicle floor. Only...

Pause 16.4 Dinette Table Slide- Need help locating manufacturer

Trying to locate the manufacture of the dinette slide from the Pause 16.4. Need a dinette slide that moves north-south AND east-west. Anyone know who makes this slide? Want to install this in our new Xplore X195. One Of The Coolest RV Tables We Have Ever Seen! | ROA Off-Road

Where did you purchase the Cruisemanster DO45+? I upgraded my HQ-19 to the McHitch. The McHitch gives me fits sometimes trying to decouple. It's really hard to tell when the load has been taken off the hitch. Best of luck on your sale.

*SOLD* SoCal 459 Teardrop Trailer built by AT Overland

I still miss that trailer. Glad you got some good use out of it! I'm sure the next owner will enjoy it as much as we both did. I'm guessing that trailer has seen more back country than 95% of the people living in the US. :)

Black Series HQ Tips, Tricks, and Learning.....

Is this legit? Had anybody gotten their free parts and why these parts? Is Black Series having trouble with door latches and cabinets coming open? What are the button batteries for? I don't recall seeing any in my HQ-19.

Black Series HQ Tips, Tricks, and Learning.....

Got any pics of your install? I have a 2020 HQ-19 that I was considering the same thing. Did you mount the new battery monitor screen in the location of the original screen? If so, did you have to run any new wiring? Thanks.

Black Series HQ Tips, Tricks, and Learning.....

Agree. I would never use the Black Series sliders to pivot my HQ-19 around a rock. They are more like a limb riser than a rock slider.

Black Series HQ21 trailer camper HQ - $89,999 (Chula Vista)

Sorry, I thought we were discussing Black Series Trailers. I didn't realize we were discussing travel options that require less equipment and is less expensive- of which there are many that don't require anything other than being relatively mobile, a bit of cardio fitness, and very basic...
