Hi everyone, After having my truck in at Chai's in LA and having all the service work done + valve seals, it's running great and now on the road. He mentioned that the exhaust manifold had some issues but can address in the future. I'm going to attempt to pull one from a junkyard car tomorrow...

You’re right mine is the 6G72 DOHC 3.5. Thanks for all the info, my last project was an MR2 and there is so much available for them on the web this has been a bit more tricky

And it’s running and starting on first crank... just no information on any belt replacements on general maintenance so hesitant to drive it Incase it goes south and I need a whole rebuild

Yea I think mine is gen2, so in the thread you posted, are a lot of the parts applicable for both models? The thread you linked in gen 2.5
