belated follow-up - I replaced all 10 coils and plugs with Ford parts...Voila! All back to normal!

about 10" from top of bed to ceiling with roof down. Not so great for sleeping up top with the roof down. The downstairs bed works GREAT with the roof up or down though.....

I just hooked up a scangauge and it indicated PO305 (misfire in Cylinder 5) - going to research my records and see if pligs/coil packs have been done recently....I kind of hope thats the problem but not sure yet.....Keep the thoughts and tips coming!

fluid level good back from quick test drive IT WAS THE PIECE OF GRAVEL!.....Um....actually not.....no improvement with gravel removed. engine idles smooth in Park and Neutral, there's a slight vibe when standing still in D/R/2/1 shuddering worst up slight incline. perceived improvement with OD...

Just removed a small piece of gravel wedged up between the housing and the shift linkage. Hopeful but not overly optimistic.....going for a test drive.....

1997 EB 350 4x4 quiggley, v-10 gas, 251Kmiles, started life as a spormobile, slowely morphed into a pop top colorado camper van....Transmission is shuddering at slight inclines.....Any thoughts? where to start?
