    Tufport Overlander

I mean I've stayed out weeks at a time in a plain old topper on my truck and that apparently didn't bother me too much. I've done cross country road trips in a toyota camry... without hotels. It's not my plan to live in 24/7 for months on end... anyway. If I find myself wanting to do that...

    Tufport Overlander

Weighing out the components so far, should be able to stay under with a bit of room to spare. Nevertheless, certainly better than all the other hardside options weight wise for my Tundra. (even the tented popups are only a couple hundred pounds less -- and you'd still want those components...)

    Tufport Overlander

Eh, depends. I do think these fill a big niche. Here's a different take: I actually just ordered the tufport t62 shell version. Going to outfit it with my own electrical system and furnishings. (plus heater and AC + wiring and other finishing done by Wasatch) Why does it make sense for me and...

Help with first build for my 2011 Tundra

Fair enough. My door jamb says the same basically. Need to read a bit more, but assume this is the payload number that would include all weight added on past stock. Will say that out of the thousand I imagined it's going to be distributed around the vehicle a bit: In the bed: - 575lb...

Help with first build for my 2011 Tundra

Hi. So I'm looking at building out my stock 2011 Tundra double cab (5.7 4x4) to be able to handle: 1) About 1000ish on payload with a tufport t62 (575lbs) https://tufport.com/adventure/ , plus all my other stuff, I'm guessing. (truck's payload is 1750) 2) Will likely add a relatively heavy...

Hard-Sided Pop-Up Camper by Hiatus Campers

Thanks for that. Seriously thinking of one of these. I really like the idea of not dealing with canvas. I have a 2011 Tundra double cab. Do you get the feeling the longevity of this thing will be good? Like the build quality? My truck will spend a lot of time outside, no garage right now...

Hard-Sided Pop-Up Camper by Hiatus Campers

Does anyone have any experience camping in one of these in cold weather? With a heater? Insulation is ok? Also, what affect if any on MPG on fuel efficiency?

For Sale: Super Pacific Camper build spot (immediate build available) $500

https://superpacificusa.com/ As the title mentions, immediate build spot available. Cut to the front of the line. All I'm asking is the 500 I put down for a deposit back -- you would have to put down your own 500 anyway. (but wait longer for build time) This was for a double cab 2nd gen Toyota...

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

Also: does anyone know of any expedition outfitters besides https://www.bearvehicles.com/ that will help put a build together? Just starting to explore options here and they're the only ones I've found so far. Thanks

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

Ah. I thought they were pre-wired.

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

Awesome. Are these wired in such a way as to receive generator power or shore power? Thanks.

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

These things look incredible. Thinking of one for my double cab Tundra. Question... would there be any way to attach an RV style 5000BTU air conditioner on the roof? Is this wired to accept generator/shore power input? Not something I'd use all that much, but would like the option, especially...

Super Pacific - New Wedge Camper

Looks great. What plates are you using in the window? Need to get some of those when mine is ready. Imagine the vents opened would've fixed your moisture issue.

Recommendations on heaters and how to install.

If you have a good power source electric blankets are a relatively low draw on power and should keep you warm.

Recommendations on heaters and how to install.

A bit pricey, but If it works well and is fuel efficient I could deal with it. Big question is how difficult and install it would be in my tundra wedge camper combo.

Recommendations on heaters and how to install.

Does anybody know of any portable propane heaters that could easily have a output hose attached such that you could keep the heater outside the vehicle?

Super Pacific - New Wedge Camper

Question for those that have this unit... do the side doors partially open? Does the tent on top partially open? (stay put, basically, if you leave it at a position)
