Thanks for the feedback! I've seen those but wasn't sure how well they worked, especially since my tanks are laying flat (only about 8 inches difference from empty to full). I was thinking sight glad might be best but would rather not penetrate the tank again.

Picked up a shower enclosure to add to the trailer before our big trip. I didn't want the enclosure to open under my tent and in front of a door so I built a telescoping mount that allows it to push out in front of the tent and in the perfect position for the shower connection.

That's why I used the rod ends they rotate in any direction. I can have all 4 posts at different heights if I need to quickly level the tent. I usually level the whole trailer though because if I don't the stove and sink won't be level when they pull out.

Are you trying to lift the whole tent rack or just the awning?
