My Montero will not stay in 2wd, it pops out. My 4x4 shifter is loose and seems to have alot of play. Took it in to two shops and they know nothing..... Both said i have to stop to shift it into 2wd and then it should stay. I KNOW THAT IS NOT TRUE. MONTEROS ARE SHIFT ON THE FLY... Any ideas or...

no locker, that was on my last one.. brought it.. super clean, no leaks. 4x4 super smooth.

its clean, no leaks, vg cond. interior is clean. Only thing wrong i know is that is was in and accident. Rear quarter that was fixed. It's the low miles that i think makes it.

So i sold my 98, but just found a 2000 with 64k miles on it for 5000. What do you think deal or no deal.

When i first got the rims they looked great. I really hated cleaning them and they ended faded, pitted and just like crap. I've wanted black rims for a while so i decided to try and plasti dip them after seeing it online. It cost 20.00 compared to the 400.00+ quotes i was getting for powder...

Has anyone else done this? i saw a pic of an older montero with the newer 4runner sport rims (i think 04-09ish) on there and really liked it.

Ive had a pair of there mid hike boots for 7 monthes and wear them 75% of the time. Yes they are worn down i bit, but nothing is coming apart. No problem with their sandals.

I have both keens and chacos. Love them both and both are super comfortable. My foot did have to get used to the chacos at first. I had a few small blisters at first, then they were perfect.

On the mileage, I get around 15.8-19 with a lift and 265/75/16 on there. I had a roof rack on but took it off and i added about 1.5-2 mpg more. I am selling mine, but every time i get in and drive it i start to reconsider. I am looking for a newer GEN 3. or a new 4runner. IF i ever sell my GEN...
