New to solar, new camper, issue getting power in.

me being a smartass: your bed requires an anderson plug? ;-) 23.4 watts or 23.4 volts? assuming it's volts. whichever length of wire isn't getting voltage is your (first) problem. if it is watts, i'm guessing that's too little for the goal zero. reverse polarity sounds like another problem...

    What's your dream sleep system?

have owned the kelty double bag for a year now. LOVE IT. disagree it's cold at the edges. Love the added layer that can be pushed aside. Agree that it would be nice if the two inner panels could be attached. ironically, just got an exped megamat lite lxw. looking forward to using it.

Bulkhead mounted Anderson Plug to go on a rear bumper

just an fyi...the renogy solar input on those dcdc chargers will only work w solar panels putting out 20v or less. so check your panels before buying. i went w a 200w AllPowers suitcase panel. 22% efficiency and performs pretty darn good. quite compact too.

    DIY Power Station

dont have more pics but the way i approached mounting the stuff on the side (anderson plugs and charger) was to use rounded screw heads on the inside to prevent any sharp corners, w large washers to provide more support. everything mounted on top has a backing nut that compresses against the lid...

Just completed my 100ahr diy power station. battery cells, bms w/ bluetooth and temp sensors $300. figure another $100 for outlets, plugs, wiring, connectors, dust covers, fuse block etc. Went with the renogy 50a dcdc/mppt charger w BT-2 dongle. (another $300) bottom anderson plug is for truck...

    Winch mounting question.

my winch is hitch mounted for a few reasons. first, it's my DD. i dont need the extra 70lbs on my front end if just driving around town. second, i can operate it from either bumper. really like the setup.

    Wiring Barrel Plugs

I'm building a portable LiFePO4 100aHr battery. I want it to have 3 barrel plugs that support up to 5a each. I'd like them all wired to the same on/off switch. Do i take all 3 positives, combine them together and bring them to the switch? And then run one wire from the switch to the fuse...

    INEOS Grenadier

it was stated in one of the recent videos i saw this week where the guy was checking it out at an auto show iirc. i listened to it twice just to make sure i heard it correctly. Their target audience are farm/working folks/fleets < 10 vehicles iirc that need a work horse in an off-road environment.

    INEOS Grenadier

i was surprised that they admitted in one of these recent videos that the target market ISN'T overlanding. huh? have their heads been in the sand the last few years? but, that explains some of design decisions, like what appears to be poor clearance, the rear skid plate that will wind up...

    INEOS Grenadier

i think it's quite a mistake to not have speedometer, tach, gas gauge and engine temps in front of the wheel. where's it going to be displayed? on the screen...where it's used for navigation, maps and music?? poor decision. i also think the buttons are too spread out...to a fault imo...

Dual battery setup for a fridge

Recently saw a new cooler/refrig that comes w/ a lifopo battery (easily replaceable), but more importantly, it lasts 5 days on the battery. sounded like a great cooler. wasn't at a premium price. saw it on youtube. might want to do a search and check it out. had anderson plugs for easy solar...
