Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I have this lock. But I still wouldn't store anything in there that you couldn't bear to say goodbye to. https://www.grainger.com/product/ABLOY-1-19-32-inH-Different-Padlock-35GP53

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

That was exactly my experience also with a Sherpa rack added.

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I'll chime in on the propane usage. I slept in the camper for three nights over Thanksgiving weekend with night time temps ranging from 25-35. I ran the fireplace on low for one night (the night it was 35) and high the two nights it was in the 20's. It was on from 7pm to 7am. The only...

Sorry I can't help you with the electrical but the broom head boot scrape is genius!

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

I noticed that if you are parked on a slope (with the front of the truck lower than the back) it can be difficult to get the back door closed from the inside because the container latch wants to swing shut on its own, blocking the latch. Has anyone come up with a creative solution for that?

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Picked up my truck today from OK4WD. The Canopy Camper is terrific and the install (including water tank, fireplace, solar, awning, suspension, and tons of other bits) came together flawlessly. A giant shout out to Rin and Chuck at OK4WD for putting up with all my questions and helping me sort...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Based on this, it sounds like the Animas B would fit the double cab without modification if there are no table brackets. On the other hand, Seekoutbeauty has the full rack underneath the overhang. I don't think I want the full rack but am considering the D because I like the proportions. I...

That looks great. Looking forward to mine. Any idea what the temp was outside when you show 62.9 inside?

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Similarly, maybe something like this: https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hitch/Curt/13018.html bolted through the door like the spare tire mount and then add a Kuat NV or other hitch platform rack. But like you said, there are some clearance issues. I'm also thinking of trying to bolt a roof...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

Thanks. A swing out hitch rack has been the probable solution thus far but by the time you add the swing out unit they get upwards of 80lbs of rack to carry a 20 lb bike. I wasn't planning on the tire mount on my door but it's an interesting solution. I like that it seems to stick out far enough...

Introducing the “NEW” Alu-Cab Canopy Camper

That table looks amazing. Hopefully my Canopy Camper will be installed soon and it will include your propane mount. Will have to consider the table as well. Do you mind posting a shot of how you have your bike mounted up there on the back door? Bike transport is one of my biggest conundrums at...
