    No I didnt. It came from the factory that way. It was very common for the older vans up until around the early to mid 80's to have a sliding door. They were very troublesome especially now trying to find parts for them.

    Progress is coming along now that it's warm again. Got the hitch and rear bumper installed complete with recovery shackles.

    I appreciate you throwing a hand up. I remember back when I found your site with your build on it. It was great reading material and it is still there. This van came from Las vegas with not a speck of rust so it was an excellent candidate for a conversion. And I appreciate the kind words.

    If I have the correct parts, sure. Dodge vans were few and far between. Haven't seen very many of them

    Got the rack all bolted down. It was nice to work outside for a change.

    It was a nice day here in Indiana today, so I took the opportunity to finish wiring the safari rack and hoisted it into place. Still have to clamp it down. I used 1/32 neoprene under the mounts. The yellow is tape holding the pieces in place. Here are some preliminary pictures.

    Its a solid axle dana 44 HD wit 5/8 axle tubes and an auburn elocker. Stock Pathfinder with leaf springs. I had to perform a cut and turn on the axle for the atlas 2 transfer case.

    Yea the gear vendors overdrive will fit right on. You can get the ball switch for low gear on the 205 if it doesnt already have one. That will allow you to interlock low gear so the over drive cant be engaged. check this thread out...

    That's a good looking rig. Have you ever considered just putting an overdrive unit on the rear of your 205? Might be a good alternative to changing out the tranny. its an awesome build
