I have the 255/85R17 MT Baja Boss AT on my 2022 Power Wagon. They balanced easily, they are great on wet roads and sand. I haven't had them on any muddy trails yet. They are quiter than the stock Duratracs that came with the truck. I have them mounted on the stock wheels.

When my bed collapsed the AT Overland Summit cabover hit the top of the cab causing stress through the frame and damaging the top of the cab. The body shop determined that the rear of the frame opened up causing a misalignment of the rear axle. My insurance company did not want to do a frame...

I only had the stock Duratracs for a couple of thousand miles on my 2022. I don't see much of a difference after having about 2500 miles with the 255/85R17's. Maybe a little better because they are not as wide. I did adjust the speedo so who knows if I am actually getting better milage. It is...

That is a lot of weight for the Tundra, I had one with a much lighter camper and wound up damaging the bed and frame while off road. I moved to a 3/4 ton ram pickup. I lost some reliability but have a frame I trust more. Good luck with your decision.

They feel solid on the highways, and feel more secure than the original width tires going thru heavy rains and standing water.

I put some on my 2022 Ram Power Wagon using the stock 17X8 rims. Mickey Thompson Baja Boss E-rated. They balanced easily and run smooth gripping the wet roads nicely. I have about 2000 miles on them with no mud or snow yet. Living in the Tampa Florida area I probably will not see snow anytime...

Yes, fuel has been in the tank most of the time. The vent tube is still connected and tight. If you go that direction use the Gell type super glue.

One of mine came off and was split also. I cleaned it with acetone and used super glue to reattach it. It has been over 8 months and it is still attached.

It held up ok but I am going to use a car wrap PPF on the panels so it will clean easier. Mine was a DC and I had an issue with the bed failing. The DC bed does not have frame supports all the way forward as the Crew Max does. The camper now sits on a Ram Power wagon.

Similar to your image I built these out of 80/20 aluminum extrusion and light weight birch veneer. You can make them any size you like.
