a 2022 Bronco Raptor named "Dino"

18.7 mpg is impressive for the braptor, i’ve never gotten that in my 2 dr badlands manual. I would advise more testing. I’m really interested in following your build and your journey.

Chevy Colorado or GMC Canyon Setups

i have an add-a-leaf in the rear and an adjustable coil over conversion in the front. As well as heavier springs. Mine is overkill so yes you would need at least a level kit in the front and would suggest AEV’s 33” kit.

Thank you to you and everyone else that went extremely out of their way to go up and help Eric and his Bronco. You all are a shining star in the Overland Community, especially with the thorough planning and teamwork; Kudos on a safe recovery. I can only imagine Eric is beyond appreciative. I...

    Colorado ZR2 Bison Build

For the Bison bumper, there are two kits (both made by AEV), directly from AEV is for for the Warn Zeon 10-S, and through Chevrolet Accessories is the ComeUp 9.5rs. I've had the ComeUp for about 3 years now and it has never let me down. I do suggest getting a friend to help you install it, I...

    Dometic fridge waterproof?

The only fridge that I’m aware of as best my weatherproof is the ARB Elements. In the back of my truck it has survived rain, snow, mud, dust storms and excessive heat. You still can’t sit it in water as the vents need air.

New Tacoma vs Colorado vs Ranger

As a current diesel Bison owner and a Badlands Bronco I am impressed with the Trailhunter but the following gives me patience to buy one: No front locker Complexity and extra weight of the hybrid system No steel front bumper that you can easily mount a winch to. Nothing beats the Bison’s boron...

12 volt water heating options for cooking?

In my experience it would take a really long time to heat water off a 12 volt circuit, look at the geyser system it takes 45 minutes to an hour to heat that small amount of water to 110 degrees. For your purposes that you stated a jet boil style burner is going to be the fastest and most...

ARB threaded power outlet- what kind of plug and where to get another one?

I have found that most ready made battery packs like goal zero, EcoFlow etc limit the input on cigarette style dc input to 8 to 10 amps, so I would check the unit you plan to buy before rewiring a fridge plug with 8 gauge wire as it would be overkill.

    New Bronco

Got a mild overlanding setup for my Bronco, still a work in process, but loving the 2-door layout: GFC SuperLite mounted to a TrailRax roof rack and their PaxRax side panels, you can also see I added the Sasquatch fender flares for more protection, Mabett mudflaps and IAG rocker steps: Made...

Thoughts on RLD design truck cap/canopy?

I found a great solution (at least for me) to the crappy RLD cross bars and platform. I used to have a Leitner Designs bed rack on my truck, which I removed for the RLD Canopy. My mpgs went up up about 2 mpg removing the RLD platform and when I went to install my GFC SuperLite to the RLD...
